So yeah, AEW World's End was more filler trash. Kenny Omega and Edge's returns were the only things of consequence that happened. The women's title street fight was the only match that actually felt like it resolved anything 'cause at least there was a little build up too it, that and Mariah May being a stellar heel as always so the match was actually enjoyable.
Also Ricochet not only lost his match with Okada (who struggled considerably more with a Will Ospreay who had his head busted open in an earlier match), he then proceeded to literally stand in the middle of the ring like a lemon as Swerve handed out toilet paper to the crowd which was then thrown on him. Couldn't even have him preserve SOME dignity by trying to stop it. So much for AEW treating this man better than WWE.
Statlander vs Mercedes 2 was an absolute disaster. They lucked into having an actually good match at Full Gear so they tried desperately to one-up that here and it only resulted in it being boring as fuck, due to feeling manufactured where the first match felt more natural.
So yeah, filler trash like I said.
