My issue was with your overreaction towards Prof. Prof‘s post just looked like a standard Ratchet paranoia post. You also mention here that it’s something he would do as Town. Mind you, at the time I made my post wrt you overreacting I wasn’t even fully caught up yet. I have done no deep dives into Prof‘s ISO either. All I saw was a post he makes as Town and you voting him over it.

I've already offered a explanation for this, and you're essentially arguing from ignorance too.

Second your dome suggestion towards him looks more like self pres than you actually believing this. It‘s out of character as well. If you’re Town your job is to be correct on reads and you are also a very patient person, usually. I don’t think why your first thought would be a thunderdome like this. Domes rarely help Town as there is always a chance you chain mislynches. Frankly that’s something I would do and how I would react. But I haven’t seen you do that as Town ever. As scum yes.

I haven't even remotely tried to follow up with any sort of thunder dome. The purpose was pressure. So I'm going to ask that you make arguments based on what I've actually done, not what you say I'm trying to do.

Tldr your push on him was way out of character and that you don’t understand where I came from with this and your entire posts since then have been more of an attempt to discredit me than anything I just don’t see you as Town here. Also the Watson thing. Her play is scummy as hell. And how her Duel works fits both scum as well Cult more than it does Town. We‘re also looking for 2 hostile factions. Watson was literally by herself when she used it. She claimed it at like 5:30am when Poyser was asleep. So any notion that he would have stopped her can just be dismissed.

It‘s not hard to imagine she just entered the thread, felt like she had to claim smth to get Town read and then just followed the thread on how to use it. This is how she operates regardless of alignment. She hasn’t mentioned and discussed the downsides of the duel at all.

Or she‘s simply the Cult Leader and it‘s a way to preserve her abilities in case she‘s the one dueled out. Zero chance you aren’t at least considering that.

Why would the cult leader have a duel that doesn't harm anti town? It's away from the point anyway, because we're talking about her being scum with Poyser. You're changing the sentiment, presumably because to you, conceding anything or admitting that your point is flawed is akin to an ego death.

I have literally said before that it makes sense as ANY Anti Town to have that.

I countered your point in that very post lol. The original premise was that Watson was scum that duelled scum Poyser to save his abilities. Then when I pointed out that it didn't really line up, you switched track to arguing that Watson was the cult leader, as if that addresses my points on why she's not scum with Poyser. So I ask you, which would cult have this ability that doesn't hurt anti town from a design PoV, that's the part that addresses your point. The rest was to establish that yiu never concede, apologise, or admit any sort of fault with yourself, your reasoning, and everything else in between.
