Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 5: Diamonds are fleeting. Stupid lasts forever

Ok why are we saying he would lose to Byakuya here. The last arc is literally all about Ichigo beating Byakuya in a fight. What’s going on
Because HM Byakuya and SS Byakuya are not the same fucking thing.

We're talking about an Ichigo that got pretty much blitzed by R1 Ulquiorra whereas Byakuya was fucking trolling released Yammy, who is full THREE ranks higher than Ulquiorra.

No version of Ichigo shy of H2 or FKT is beating HM Byakuya in a fight.
Depends on which captains would absolutely stomp the shit out of a hollow masked bankai Ichigo neg diff(keeping in mind that a weaker version of him already beat some of them)....
No he BARELY beat ONE of them before they all went through training to prepare for the war with Aizen.
or better yet how many of them would absolutely make HM Uryu impotent that even if there were 3 of him he couldn't put a scratch on either of them
What the fuck does this have to do with anything? :whatisthis
ok so I think all the captains beside rng sick jushiro mid diff hm ichigo.
Imo hm ichigo is a bum. Even the vizards have better feats then this Ichigo.
I'm of the opinion hm ichigo is heavily nerfed compared to his soul society counterpart.
Yes he was "nerfed" despite having been directly stated to have gotten stronger MULTIPLE times throughout the arc and by MULTIPLE different characters including Orihime, Ulquiorra and Aizen. :smh

HM Mayuri and FKT Soi Fon are NOT beating this version of Ichigo, he has blatantly better feats than them.
As to him beating SF not sure why people rate her so low tbh
Because she lacks basically any feats worth a damn in any arc but SS.
if she fires her bankai at all , ichigo is a corpse end of . Nothing he can do about it .
Yes because of course Ichigo can't just, you know, DODGE it and promptly cut her head off while her speed is gimped.
Why should I assume it would hit him when the Bankai itself doesn't actually have any speed feats to prove it would tag him?
The discussion here is can he beat her before that and frankly he got nothing indicating he can
Aside from better feats in pretty much every department EXCEPT for the raw power of a Bankai that doesn't have the feats to tag him.
Mayuri uses bankai ichigo closes the gap , gets poisoned and dies
Not sure what a fighter so dumb is supposed to do against Mayuri
Two words, Getsuga Tensho.

Like seriously Ichigo's not not the brightest tool in the shed but he's not a complete fucking RETARD. He's not gonna see this thing spewing obvious poison gas and just rush in to it. There's nothing stopping him from just sitting back and spamming Getsugas and HM Mayuri doesn't have any answer to him doing this.
Agreed on this also goukei may not have been a thing
Despite the fact you're agreeing with the take of him simply not USING Ikka Senjika, meaning you agree he had this MUCH stronger version of the same attack at the time. :facepalm
If the faster zommari can’t evade it , the much slower ichigo wouldn’t have been able to
Zommari was dealing with a much stronger version of Byakuya, Ichigo literally got surrounded by SBK (which effectively is all Goukei is, just attacking with all petals at once) and promptly batted them all aside easily.

The myth of HM Ichigo somehow being nerfed compared to his SS counterpart, despite multiple statements confirming the opposite and having his Masked state on top of his Bankai is one of the dumbest bad takes one can have for Bleach.

Lmao, Rey is at worst a quite low entry lvl Mary Sue, and if that would be actually based on ridiculous power several EU characters(especially Grandmaster Luke for example) would be far worse Mary Sues. People really need to start to understand that Mary Sue doesn't mean overpowered character let alone female owerpowered character, Batman is in fact one of the worst Mary Sues in popular official fiction, but far more because of shit like this here:

917CfZ0hKBL._UF1000,1000_QL80_.jpg

, than because of any Batgod stories.

A Mary Sue is a character who the plot bends around, who is unrealistically competent and often don't really has any big challenges(Silver Age Superman for example would be still a pretty blatant Mary Sue with a big emphasis on that in many stories, if you reduce the power lvl from sneezes Solar Systems away and more to can throw cars and topple a building if you change nothing else about the stories), has no true weaknesses or more often straight up alibi weaknesses(see Leon from Pokemon and his poor sense of direction for example) that feel nigh irrelevant, who can talk no jutsu characters with their sheer existence and who often comes out of nowhere but all of a sudden super important for some reason/has a questionable + unconvincing or unfitting origin in general, you could technically even create a Rey with more power than Grandmaster Luke and Abeloth combined who is not a Mary Sue at all(you would need to be a pretty good writer to actually pull that of though), cause even a totally overpowered character in fact don't needs to be a Mary Sue.
:pepecopium:

Love how he accurately describes what a Mary Sue is, with Rey absolutely meeting EVERY requirement for it that he laid out, while insisting she's NOT a Mary Sue.

Then of course you get all the whataboutisms like Lucas Grandmaster Luke (who by the way has A LOT more justification for being that strong than Rey does and actually struggles a lot more) and Leon from Pokemon who he seems to have a weird hate boner for and pretends he's a Gary Stu when the guy lost in BOTH MEDIUMS, games and anime.

The only example that has ANY weight is Batman at his absolute worst but NONE of these make Rey any less of a massive Mary Sue.

No one minds "overpowered" female characters when they're actually well written and not Mary Sues. Cereza/Bayonetta is LITERALLY meant to be a stronger, female version of Dante and yet she still ended up with a massive fanbase of her own because she's still a good character in her own right (and doesn't just blatantly copy Dante). Rey isn't hated because she's a woman like you're trying to imply, it's because her writing is TRASH.

White from the EBTR would be a fraccion or something
Pressured the guy who fucking finger-flicked Aizen through a building, but would somehow be a fraccion? :jordangif

Nah White shits on the Espada, full stop, not just the Ichigo version. :maybe

Literally an entire page of people arguing what we have known from Dragonball for years(That there is no trick question of why Z-Fighters don't destroy Planets when they are well past Frieza's level of power, let alone Vegeta's and that it's both Ki Control and simple ass author intent for there to be a reason why every single characters' attacks don't basically just shave the planets they are fighting on to absolute zilch, even bringing in that OPM has the same issue) vs. People who keep on arguing how it makes no sense that they aren't destroying the Planet with their attacks, that they have to hit the core of the Planet to do so and otherwise, we can't just ignore them as outlandish.

Assuming the minimum amount needed is acceptable.

If you think it's above the minimum you're free to try and prove it.

Again, it's weird as shit that Sheldon keeps trying to make the K-T Extinction Event ORT's cap rather than the floor because again there are many reasons why in comparison to PHH where ORT's crash landing was nowhere near as savage, did so much damage the Malla got the Dinosaurs to safety in an underground cavern and reinforced Pangaea in the process.

A) ORT didn't bother to protect itself at all because it knew it would regenerate later.
B) ORT's fall basically fucked up the Planet's surface beyond repair even to the current day(Which did not happen with the K-T Extinction Event for obvious reasons) which would mean it's impact was even more devastating than the K-T Event by magnitudes.

Easiest reasons in the world to bring up... people only begin to bring up B and not to it's fullest potential.

Why is it inconsistent with surrounding feats and statements? Just because ORT regenerated faster when it was fighting Chaldea?

Because ORT withstood shit that would make the K-T Event look like a firecracker, that's PRECISELY the problem here...
Like it's long ridiculous to pretend that Servants of all kinds is weak as shit because of the same retarded principles that don't even work for most shonen have been stuck onto it but it begins to seriously make no sense when ORT's weakest parts was smashed to shit by thousands of Gugulanna's legs by a charged up Ereshkigal Alter... and it ultimately didn't and wouldn't have mattered anyway. That it could lose an organ from the MEoDP and not only regen it, but make it stronger against the very damn thing that killed the organ. That the characters got buffed up by Ereshkigal Alter's Underworld buff which previously allowed them to actually hurt Tiamat to be able to chip at ORT's outer shell... suddenly means it's CAP has to be the K-T Meteor... despite Quetzalcoatl's NP BEING THE K-T METEOR and Kukulkan while alive can do that level of power effortlessly... and it didn't work.

There is a world of difference between "fall at terminal velocity" and "impact a planet at interplanetary speeds".

From my perspective, 100 teratons is already plenty impressive, more than enough to put ORT in the very top tier of the Nasuverse.

"See? I'm being fair to the Nasuverse, no one is capable of generating 100 Teratons of power... just ignore U-Olga Marie, the Beasts, Lostbelt Zeus and the Servants capable of rivaling them which is explicitly stated that plenty DO".
Let's ignore Quetzalcoatl can handle putting the equivalent of a Star inside of her and become the K-T Event, Ozymandias Dendra Light Bulb being able to generate heat on the level of a solar flare, Rhongomyniad being able to overpower Animus Animusphere, Durandal being able to block a Planetary laser... TWICE and many, many more things like a weapon on par with Rhongomyniad being blocked by Heracles despite suffering a few of it's demerits because willpower.

He does not "burrow" down to the bottom layer. Mictlan was created by Malla, and it is hollow by default. ORT would only need to penetrate the "cap" and then it's a straight fall through empty air all the way to the bottom.

Given that Malla hollowed out Mictlan, the crust covering the underworld is unlikely to be particularly thick. Even the Chicxulub meteor IRL was able to penetrate 30 kilometers of crust, and that was with a mantle beneath the crust. If it was just the crust with no supporting mantle beneath, a K-T asteroid could definitely pierce through the entire crust.

Ah yeah, The Underworld's crust must not be all that thick despite the fact it absolutely would considering the surface of the Planet is literally fucked all over with lava, endless smoke and no goddamned sun due to all of that smoke...
Seriously, this is extremely stupid considering the fact that again, Mictlan does not act like the equivalent of a small ass tube but more of an Space Colony Sector.

I know, but even while it's outside ORT and not providing energy, it still has a link to it. This link is what makes ORT regenerate faster, because it's prompting ORT to regenerate.

This is literally the anti-thesis of everything that is ever shown about Kukulcan, ORT's heart and ORT...
Kukulcan was literally beckoned by ORT to become whole again and had to fight off it's influence. ORT went after her because while it COULD regenerate a new heart, it's more machine-like nature prioritized getting it's heart because as it's just more efficient. And of ORT still had a link with Kukulcan to "regenerate faster", then it wouldn't have died and needed the Throne of Heroes to come back and just reformed AROUND HER.
Sheldon literally cannot fathom that the reason ORT is even active is due to it's own body and being allowing it to still be alive without a heart and using 2 Substitutes(The Tree of Emptiness and U-Olga's Heart) and even then would have woke up eventually as the Malla forced it to sleep for millions of years.

As a matter of fact, I believe that the reason ORT regenerates faster when fighting Chaldea is because it doesn't have a heart. Without a heart, it was forced to make all of its cells generate their own independent energy.

As we know, ORT needs power to regenerate. Thus, if all his cells have their own power output, even if the total output is still lower than the heart, the regen can be faster because he can regen from any part of his body.

Meanwhile, he presumably lacked this Massively Distributed Power Grid back in the Cretaceous when he first crashed.

...That is literally false as shit...
Nothing has ever shown that ORT "needs power" to regenerate, it's actually the opposite in that without it's main source of the power it has within itself(i.e. It's Heart), it would ultimately power down for awhile before immediately waking the fuck back up and just creating the new organ and start over. That's the entire reason the Malla had to force ORT to sleep despite Camazotz taking away it's heart and the Malla grabbing it as otherwise ORT would have just regened and it and Camazotz would have fought for all of eternity. Tezcatlipoca literally states that ORT "would wake up eventually" regardless of his and Daybit's plan, all they are doing is expediting the process.

Absolutely wrong.

  1. Camazotz being dead or alive had no impact on ORT staying dead. ORT is not somehow linked to Camazotz.
  2. ORT was revived because Daybit spent 1 year feeding it deino hearts, and then finished the deal by giving it U-Olga's heart. When ORT revived, it attacked U-Olga and managed to eat 30% of her body.
  3. Tez was not fed to ORT. Neither was Izcalli. The only people fed to ORT to revive it were nameless deinos and Daybit.
  4. Technically U-Olga too, but only her heart.
See? This is what happens when Nasu fans are allowed to spew their fanon and no one is able to correct them because the official english translation isn't easily available. Not blaming you by the way.

I like how Sheldon is acting hard because he got ONE thing right and that was taken from Siriel and then act like Nasu fans was the one doing the "headcanon" when dude was going all in with the extreme lying about ORT's capabilities and it being "Sub-Planet" for the better part of TWO THREADS.
The absolute cringe.

How can there be a floor to durability, when the feat in question involved ORT dying from it?

The creature shown it doesn't have the same concept of death known to humans, knows it's regen capabilities and as seen in PHH can do safe more controlled landings than it did in LB7... decides to not do a safe, controlled landing and basically render's Earth's surface completely uninhabitable on a scale that's beyond the K-T's effects on PHH(PHH did have the Malla/Divine Firmanents help during that but it most likely was still not on that same scale since... you know, everything else still happened)... that's the floor, not the cap.

I see what you mean, but the cap of ORT's durability would then be sub-Earth level because his impact with the Earth failed to destroy it.

Meaning that its durability is still lower than its offensive power, which was also one of the points I am arguing.

"ORT didn't destroy Earth with it's collision thus means it's Sub-Earth" "Completely ignore that ORT's mission is to kill off Humanity and go fuck on back to the Oort Cloud"

Yeah, wonder why ORT didn't destroy Earth and why Daybit's entire Planet was focused on making it destroy CHALDEAS...

Having gone through LB7 I can tell you it's absolute hokum. The only thing that Malla did was to create Mictlan as an underground bunker for the dinosaurs. Keeping Pangea in one piece was not part of Malla's plan to prepare for ORT. It did that over 200 million years before it sensed ORT.

All of Malla's preparation for ORT involved hiding from the devastation that ORT would cause on the surface of the planet. The interior of the planet is wholly unaffected, which is the whole reason Malla retreated there.

Again, all of this isn't even stated, it's just given a small once-over by the people in the thread who also played LB7:

it's tiring to repeat oneself.

there is no flashback, no detailed account. the event of the crash only has a couple of lines.

& it's a bit ridiculous to say the alien (an alien in the nasuverse of all things) that makes up a large part of the supercontinent and allows it to exist didn't have any effect of the supercontinent & neither its own durability & actions had any effects.

another deviation is that the surface is still burning after millions of years, with olga observing that it shouldn't be happening. the fire realistically shouldn't have lasted years let alone to current days, so not so natural event.

it's not anti-feat or feat, it's unusable because because no detailed account is made.
it's the equivalent of someone being given this info: "thousands of years ago, during chaldea's eighth dive, tiamat fell beneath the earth. she was killed by gilgamesh, the king of heroes."
& gilgamesh > tiamat. and gilgamesh guy fistfought&suplexed tiamat.

Which then Sheldon completely contradicts pages of his own argument and bitching to say this in response:

Olga notes it as unusual because she thinks the planet shouldn't be so lazy. She thinks that the damage has to be actively fixed, rather than being able to recover on its own (like it does IRL). This is likely because of Gaia.

The prime species (Deinos) believe the surface is a wasteland and so Gaia makes the surface a wasteland. Similar to how when humans in PHH believed magic didn't exist, Gaia dropped ether levels.

HAHAHAHAHA!! So Sheldon literally contradicts his own fucking argument because Nasuverse Earth is exactly like Real Life Planet Earth... except he literally just goes with what U-Olga stated which means that Nasuverse Earth is not like Real Life Earth and required it's own resources and outside energy to help deal with that fallout.
Again, it's insane people take this dude seriously because "He reads FGO" but like everyone else in SB who ever states that, it's ultimately a mass contradiction from everything they say because they either remove or force in context that was never there to fit their agendas and go into knots when people call it out.
