Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 5: Diamonds are fleeting. Stupid lasts forever

I dont buy a lot of the super high end danny phantom scaling but even with the lowest end interpretations, wtf does aang add to this. Even in the avatar state I don't remember him doing anything danny couldn't easily handle (I guess that one feat where kyoshi moved the island would probably have some crazy results). Similarly depending on the alien ben should have zero issues.

I saw Danny Phantom when i was in middle school , but didn´t he tanked a city level explosion and then turned edgy as a final boss from a movie ?

I don't remember any city level explosion tanking overall, though he did become an evil ghost and destroy the earth in an alternate future.

BAsically his family died in an explosion, so depressed he begged vlad to rip the ghost out of him, this lead to his ghost half now bereft of humanity to rip out vlads ghost half and they fused into an evil dark danny that went on to kill his original human half and end the world (dark danny burned everything to ash and the last standing settlement on earth was amity park itself, thanks to a ghost shield).'

There are some odd implications in the episode that dark danny is aware of clockwork (Ghost god of time) Specifically on seeing sam, tucker and danny he calls out the "Meddling old man"

Honestly one of the better feats I remember was rome being blown up during a fight between vlad and danny when they were time traveling, basically in the danny phantom world vlad and danny are responsible for the great fire of Rome due to their energy blast.

Beyond that at one point danny had to cover most of the city in ice to get rid of undergrowth, and fought a ghost that controlled the weather

He fought a ghost called paraih dark who was one of the most powerful ghost, but needed a special mech suit to do it.

He also got a knock off infinity gauntlet called the reality gauntlet during a special, but he blew it up at the end, and when I say knock off I mean...Its super fucking blatant.

Huh I remember more about this show then I thought.....

Also theres a really fucked up story beat that gets glossed over, a ghost dog named cujo breaks into a place known as axiom labs to get back his chew toy, he even still has an axiom labs collar on. Valaries dad gets fired due to the destruction caused by the ghost dog, since he was the one that installed the new security system.

Thing is its implied axiom labs got rid of their gaurd dogs for the new secruity system, cujo breaking into an empty kennel to get back his toy...For a show that tried to keep a light tone it could surprisingly dark

Oh, the thread is back to Naruto speed debates again. Not that anyone in MHA could even scratch that form in Naruto even if they supposedly had the "speed advantage".

Also:
It doesn't matter what the description says (and don't even get me started on translations) if it doesn't show it in the actual manga or anime and it doesn't. The burden of proof is on you and you have (as all others have) failed to prove it is lightspeed so it is not. The entire Naruto speed argument hinges on this one single event and because no one has (or ever will) prove it is actually literally a light speed laser, Naruto will never be FTL no matter how much special pleading you do.

Reminder that you could apply the exact same fallacious argument to Jedi being FTL because they can block or dodge "lasers" which are clearly not lightspeed even if they are called lasers in the description. You are making this incorrect argument and again, you are objectively and provably wrong.
Blasters in Star Wars are light speed. Bad Batch (which is Disney canon) has a character who uses mirrors for trickshots, they probably forgot blasters are plasma.

Every year, characters and series on VBW getting pushed to whatever degree of Hyperversal / Outerversal or whatever look more and more unimpressive to actually read about.

how else do you prove in a static medium like manga that a laser moves at the speed of light without statements and descriptions???? I've never understood this argument

its simple one of the characters needs to hold up a speedometer and point at the laser like the pointing soyjack meme
