Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 5: Diamonds are fleeting. Stupid lasts forever

the soul society when the D-Reaper makes its own Soul Reaper

Everyone is entitles to their own opinions, which is all ok, but-
You know, from what I've seen, except for Gridman and (only on the surface (Marie is hot), which is why I have an idea for a part-rewrite part-sequel of it) BNA, I don't like Studio Trigger, mainly because of the uncomfortable messages their works seem to have to me. The message of Kill la Kill STILL really does SEEM to me like it's "clothing is inherently evil and we'd all be better off naked," while BNA and, to an extent, Promare seem to say "racial minorities really ARE more predisposed to crime and violence, but that's a good thing, and giving them the same rights as everyone else would be oppressing them" and have seeming technophobic elements to them.
WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK IS THIS NONSENSE?!

thats why i think just because you have a opinion, it does not mean that opinion will be correct.
just because you think [insert certain understanding of a series] is your opinion, it does not mean it is the correct or the most "agreable"opinion.
you can use this example for any series.

Someone who misunderstands that neither Promare and ESPECIALLY Kill La Kill is not meant to be taken the slightest bit literally and is just the writers/directors/animators going hogwild just to go hogwild.
All it really proves is that certain people these days need to legit touch, sit on and sleep on grass because holy fuck, people want to see messages where there isn't any and it's just fucking them up completely.

But if you guys REALLY want to see someone in SB who I had the consistent misfortune of reading his posts in the Netflix Devil May Cry thread, it's this motherfucker:
Because a bunch of late teens, 20-40s something men (and some women too), acted like the biggest bitches, because Izuku didn't get the "Alpha/Sigma Male Bad Ass, Take Names, Takes No Prisoners Harem God, #1 Hero With The Biggest Cock" ending they deluded themselves they think was going to happen and what they believe they 'deserve'. Says more about them, than anything related to Izuku or MHA in general. At the end of the day, they're just bunch of bitches projecting their shallow desires and wants onto a character they really don't give a shit about nor care to actually understand. They just pretend, but can't even be man or woman enough to admit it.

Meet Brawlman, one of the dumbest Spacebattles dudes in the entire forum and he's not a VS. section regular, but basically hangs around the Fictional Section giving off the most Far Left takes you can ever imagine and anytime, anytime he defends a series, he always. ALWAYS. does exactly what you see here.
The reason people hate Deku being in Iron Man Armor can't be the fact that it basically makes Deku's journey meaningless because he ultimately never learned anything or grew at all past Chapter 1. He didn't manage or help create the suit in any meaningful fashion(or even asked for it to be made), he never tried to be a hero before or after he lost his powers(no, him randomly saving a student from a speeding car doesn't suddenly negate the years of doing nothing) and the entire "I always wanted to be a teacher" reeks of absolute cope because it never comes up in the story once, not even in the anime(Atleast Ichigo being an English/Japanese Translator is based off of his trivia stating he loves Shakespeare as a favorite writer, I can buy Ichigo explicitly learning English just to authentically understand Shakespeare to it's foundations).
Nah, it just gotta be because we wanted our power fantasy... despite I have never seen anyone treat Deku like a goddamned power fantasy except for people like this dude.

Demon Slayer felt like a better version of Inuyasha.
...No Commment...

I was behind Izuku until he started shilling HARD for Bakugo, despite the latter having done NOTHING to deserve Izuku's forgiveness or anything of the sort. Rather similar in fact to Naruto's later obsession over Sasuke completely torching an otherwise likable character.

It's not like Meliodas or Eren where I just NEVER liked them to begin with, but that sadly makes Deku and Naruto feel all the more disappointing to me because they HAD the potential to be good protagonists and it was WASTED.

Reminds me of this Youtube video I saw actually defending the Netflix Devil May Cry, trying to use Lady's lines about good demons and evil humans as justification for how the series depicts them. :facepalm

Conveniently ignoring of course, that the games treat those individuals as the exceptions that they are. All evil humans are ones drawing on demonic energy, while the good demons all required unusual circumstances to end up that way. It's the entire reason Sparda is such a legend to begin with, because demons going against their nature isn't easy and is RARE, much less for one to do what Sparda did.

Last one from this thread because holy shit, maybe outside of My Hero Academia's subreddit, SB is the most lost place to ever understand why people at large make fun of Deku and still believe the overall ending is garbage:

I find people are slowly getting more allergic to 'quiet' endings. You know, the type where the hero elects to live a quiet and humble life. LOTR where the happy ending is going back to the Shire or Mulan's ending where she she at best just gets together with Shang after she gets welcomed back by her dad.
Yep, you just read that right:
Apparently Deku couldn't just be a Teacher because people hate "Quiet Endings"... despite that being factually not even remotely true...
I get not everyone wants a humble life, but I find its pretty important to show that it's ok to just be a building block that holds up society. Rather than the one at the top. Granted, the teacher ending seems to be a bit of a trope in Japanese media. Frankly, more blue collar stuff needs to get more respect. It's a bit strange to me that Clannad is probably the only anime I've seen where the dude is just a powerline worker and there's little shame in it.
Because again, no one has an issue with "Quiet Endings", you dope! The issue people have with the ending of My Hero Academia is thus(and there is alot):
  • Deku ultimately relinquishes OFA to save Shigaraki... which failed and he died with OFA for only a bit of redemption that felt completely forced.
  • Deku nor the rest of Hero Society is ever shown doing anything to stop a similar situation to Shigaraki. Hell, Horikoshi has the brass temerity to force in a parallel scene just so that the same fucking person who walked past Shigaraki to acknowledge them, completely destroying the one damn element that could have been handed off to... I don't kno-DEKU!?
  • None of the overall points the franchise raised has been solved in any meaningful fashion(The Hero System? The one that had Endeavor basically destroy his family over? Still around and Shoto is just perfectly okay with it! Discrimination for Quirk Users that don't look human? Never addressed in the slightest. Quirk Singularity? Something that is stated will ultimately lead to the destruction of Humanity and one of the reasons why OFA would die with Deku regardless? Not even given a goddamned nudge on them trying to even curb it).
  • We needed an extra epilogue just to touch upon the things Horikoshi ignored despite giving them absurd levels of page/screentime(Why the hell was Izuku/Ochako put here? And why through the dumbest method possible?!) or just added in pure cope(Like Deku always wanting to be a teacher... despite we have seen throughout Deku's entire storyline, he never once mentioned about being a teacher)

The fact people keep thinking that "People just want action endings" but ignore that Naruto and Bleach, 2 of the Big 3, basically ended with the world's at peace(ignore Boruto) and the characters are basically just chilling out or doing peace talks is just fucking ridiculous. Like holy shit, Full Metal Alchemist, one of the most adored manga series, literally ends with a Quiet and Humble Ending.

man, i promise i want to see the pure reaction on people when Panty & Stocking Season 2 releases, it is going to be something, or probably nothing, but i want it to be something

The funny part about this is that the humans that "get as bad as the demons"? Never. Stay. Human. They always, always forsake their Humanity to become a Demon... which should tell you how bad the Demons are that in order for a Human to be as bad as them, they can't stay human.
DMC5 makes this evident beyond compare with Urizen being the most absolute piece of shit and carrying Vergil's worst qualities and is his Demonic Side while V carries Vergil's best traits and his trauma and is his Human Side. Which should basically be extremely obvious to anyone where the Netflix DMC Anime explicitly is wrong in.

The irony for me is that Deku would be so much more likeable if he genuinely just kicked Bakugo's ass and the author had the balls to make Bakugo actually fucking change his behavior. I don't give a damn about someone's inferiority complex if they make no effort to change themselves or to explain themselves and the fact that Horikoshi never makes Bakugo not change a bit but then acted like he changed while Deku is being his bottom bit- I mean his cheerleader is fucking appalling.
Switch Deku's gender and I guarantee you everyone would hate Bakugo, no questions asked.
