I agree with the first one in terms of the show, Rarity is my favorite member of the Mane 6 by far. Almost all the best episodes in the show focus on her. My favorite character overall is Sunset Shimmer. :maybe I also agree with them that some people seem to be afraid to admit to liking the show and they shouldn't be. But that's largely down to the negative perception most people have of fans of the show due to the more "eccentric" fans, coloring their view of the fanbase in general. Which sucks but that's the way it is.

Of course my dumbass ended up reading it, God it was stupid, even for the time it was written. As I said, the only benefit of it is that much better writers were able to repurpose and make something good of it for their own stories. Smile HD was dumb too, but at least it was so over the top it was funny. :maybe

Fucking preach, that sort of autism is what gave rise to shit like Cupcakes Pinkie Pie in the MLP fandom. Sure I've seen that idea re-purposed and used in good fanfiction as well but still, not a thing you want to let go too far.

Me: Watching a story focused playthrough of Final Fantasy XIV ARR (starting in Ul'dah) and enjoying it so far. Guy Playing: Keeps trying to apologize for how "slow and generic" the story is early on and insisting it gets better. Me: "But, but it's fine right now, what's there to apologize for? It's playing set up sure because it's the beginning but I'm liking both the story and the characters so far." Guy Playing: Talks about how much better voice acted, directed etc. later scenes are after a flashback to the Calamity. Me: "Sure they may very well be but I didn't see what was bad about that one or these voice actors in general, they seem fine to me." Am I insane? Or is it really just that it's THAT much better later that the start seems bad to this guy by comparison? :maybe

I like how they have Uryu raise the perfectly valid criticism of the execution and Haschwalth's response is basically to hand-wave it and dodge the issue entirely by saying "It's for His Majesty to decide what's necessary." Basically "Fuck You, don't question His Majesty's stupidity!" :heston Goes to show how dumb the team killing is when that's the best Kubo could come up with to justify it in almost a decade. :maybe

His voice actor was fucking stealing the hell out of most of the episode again and Rukia's Bankai lived up to all my expectations. I just they'd had that Never Meant to Belong remix playing throughout the entire Bankai sequence as opposed to the ending theme which really didn't fit the scene. I'm more interested in knowing how anyone's going to downplay Ichigo now that we have Ichibei straight up stating that he has become a "True Soul Reaper" by surpassing "Ordinary Soul Reapers", ie. he's transcendant. Yet people are still gonna try and claim Shikai Ichigo's weaker than Yoruichi. :heston

It's funny to think every time Noctis gets involved in Dissidia shenanigans or something similar, XV Bahamut is probably sitting bricking himself at the idea of the other protagonists finding out how the shitty gods still control his world. It wouldn't be 2 seconds after they find out, Light and Clive in particular would practically be racing each other to see who gets to murk them first. :maybe

Yubel about to go ham IRL. :maybe And works as a counterpart for the Spirit of Neos card, which did a lot of heavy lifting for Neos as well. Also love how they put that new fusion in JUST so that you could use Super Poly with Yubel, since she canonically had it in the series.

FF Union dude, I get that you like Final Fantasy XV but really? The Pitioss Ruins? A dungeon in which you literally can't die as there are no enemies and therefore can't FAIL, as one of the hardest optional dungeons in the series? :breh Yeah I know it's a maze and shit and you can get lost but at the end of the day, you're not in any risk of dying and just trial and error your way through the whole thing. It's more tedious than anything else. Compared to dungeons with actual fights in them (which I'm pretty sure XV has and you could have used one of them), I don't see how the Pitioss Ruins fits on this list.

Still baffles me that they would go out of their way to change long-standing voice actors that no one had an issue with. Even if the new ones were good, that's just going to piss people off for no reason.

It's like the guys who actually bitched about Sekiro's story being more straight forward and there not being as much to read into. Despite that being part of the reason Sekiro was much more enjoyable from a story stand-point. :maybe

Reptile's clan is alive Oh finally a good change, nice work Liu... Reptile is outcast from his clan for having a human form. SIGH God Damn it. I mean sure it was derivative of Scorpion but given he's in the Lin Kuei in this game, it doesn't really make sense to get rid of the most interesting aspect of Reptile's character, ie that he was fighting for his lost clan.

I like the former more. I didn't find anything incoherent or hard to follow about the Gear 5 sequence. There's a lot of movements happening in a short time (specifically with the Blast Breath block) sure, but it was still easy enough to tell what was happening, it looked nicer and fit its show and moment a lot better.

Yeah because it's not like Gear 5 Luffy vs Kaido is SUPPOSED to be cartoony with the animation style actually fitting the tone of the show and that sequence, whereas Naruto vs Pain's shit is meme worthy specifically because it completely clashes with the tone of the fight and the series in general. :smh

I know, pretty much everything from the poster for this cour, to the opening to the extra scenes being given to both Ichigo and Uryu to build them up indicates that some kind of encounter will happen. Frankly if it doesn't happen at this point, all that's gonna end up being completely pointless. Like how doing the execution now is completely pointless when we got a far better reason for Haschwalth to be recalled (Mustache going to sleep) and Uryu has already seen what happens when a Nazi dies so there's literally no reason to do it now, other than because Mustache is an idiot.
