It's a massive shame because he seems like he's a decent person, he is an excellent artist, and whoever wrangled him at the beginning allowed for everything up until the Gentle Criminal Arc pretty great. Wish BNHA didn't drop off so badly

I just realized BNHA is still going I thought the story would wrap up now. It's such a shame, Horikoshi is a great artist but his writing has completely fallen apart for like 150 chapters now.

predictions for upcoming DBS Chapters: 96 (August): Piccolo beats the gammas, the fight ends, the name Orange Piccolo is officialized in the manga, Magenta and Hedo confront eachother as Cell Max is unleashed 97 (September): Cell Max is unleashed, first part of fight 98 (October): Cell Max vs Piccolo Orange, ends with Gohan Blanco 99 (November): Gohan Blanco vs Cell Max 100 (December): End of Super Hero movie, epilogue This is woefully optimistic but feels the most fitting/rounded/well paced in reality. Allows for 2024 to hopefully go back to (sigh) 12 chapters of DBS regarding Freeza Black. You know, 45 pages a month really sucks. I'd rather 60 chapters or so. But knowing Toyble it would just make things even more shit.

So having read up to the beginning of Infinite Crisis (Which I will begin Wednesday), I can conclude there are kinda 5 main authorial eras, like in terms of who was running the show for Superman Byrne Era (1986-1988) Jurgens-Stern Era (1988-1994) Jurgens-Kessel Era (1994-1999) Loeb Era (1999-2002) Johns Era (2002-2011) I feel that these people dominated the progress for characters in these timeframes. There were many other writers at the time, 1988-1989 and 1999-2000 had a lot of people coming and going, but these seem to be the most consistent de facto show runners for the time being

I finished Green Lantern: Recharge, now I have only one story left for this era. The big one, Infinite Crisis. Once I finish it I will return to some key stories I forgot and then I will make a blog compiling everything I saw between Loeb's Superman and Infinite Crisis. I will later do a respect thread for DC up to that point after that. Ed McGuinness Lois is still the hottest
