Yeah but at least I thought the MUSIC would be good as it usually is, even at their worst. For even that to be as bad as it is is really saying something. Forget Little Mermaid 1, it doesn't hold a fucking candle to any of the Little Mermaid movies.

Um you do realize that's a fan-edit right? The game DOES use its own soundtrack and features surprisingly little classic Star Wars music. And what it has is pretty good (especially the track when Cal grieves Cere's death), I was just appreciating the edit and saying the classic tracks can make anything better. :maybe

Maybe so but in this particular case, I do think they both fit. And this is basically the only Disney Star Wars material I'd accept classic Star Wars music being put in.

I guess it's just one of those things that never gets old for me. Good music will be good music no matter how many times it's used. Also it fits as an intro for this fight since Vader's entrance is similar to Maul's when the theme plays in the movie. And in fairness he also used the Anakin vs Obi Wan theme (Battle of the Heroes) for the second half of the fight, so it wasn't like he just threw Duel of the Fates in there and called it a day.

Dat classic Star Wars music can make anything more epic. :awesome Not gonna lie, Survivor earns it.

Just so we're clear, Kameo characters as described on the website are effectively assist characters, which you can't actually play as. So series staple Johnny Cage isn't going to be an actual playable character in this game, but guest characters Omni Man, Homelander and Peacekeeper are? I mean sure, they can and probably will add Cage as a playable character later but why would you go out of your way to get him a Jean Claude Van Damn skin if he's not even a playable character?

"They put a Blazblue character in Guilty Gear Strive." Yeah except Blazblue is actually more fun to watch than Strive, even when watching top tier characters. The only benefit Strive's got is that the matches are short, 'cause characters die so fast. "He looks cool!" FUCKING REALLY MAX? Never mind the fact Grievous isn't even bad in Revenge of the Sith. The order had to specifically send Obi Wan because his style was the best suited to facing Grievous' and it was still a tough fight, where Kenobi had to exploit his weakened armour and shoot him in his organs to actually kill him. Although yeah his Jobberization in the later Clone Wars series was pretty disgusting. Yeah I'm pretty sure it's talking about how he was portrayed after the fact. Though again, dude was fighting both fine in ROTS given that both had improved MASSIVELY and Anakin had to rage out to kill him. Well they obviously want to try and push Shang Tsung after how popular he was in MK11. Without realizing that a lot of that was due to the actor they had playing him. Unless they have him back (which it doesn't look like they do) he's not going to be anywhere near as much of a draw. :maybe

So this seems to be indicating that CHOICE is going to be a big deal in this game's story, though how much that actually ends up holding true, we'll have to wait and see. I don't know how the hell there's going to be any tension if Fire God Liu Kang is actually getting involved. I thought, with the way the trailer was going there, that he'd be staying neutral and leaving those "choices" up to the other characters. Then he bodies Shang Tsung and again makes me question, how can there be any tension when he's already beaten Kronika and Shang Tsung with her crown? Hopefully the gameplay's good because I doubt the story is going to be. :kobeha

At least Yamato is actually a likable character, you know one that's actually worth debating about, even if the debate itself is rooted in sheer stupidity given Oda has confirmed her as a woman and the thing with Oden is more about idolizing him specifically than actually wanting to be a man.
