As for well-written morally grey characters, just went into a whole spiel in the Elder Scrolls thread about why Ulfric Stormcloak is a complex character, both well-meaning yet flawed. Usually the best morally Grey characters for me are the ones who go through character development to overcome their flaws and grow into better people as result. Accelerator is good example of this going from a self-loathing and brooding anti-hero to being more heroic even though you can argue...

That was actually the intent of the writer behind Death Note. Light’s greatest flaw besides his God complex was his inability to see the world as anything but black and white in morality. That’s why he so easily sunk low while still seeing himself as completely faultless just because he was killing people he saw as evil justifying anything he does. And Billy is just an asshole psychopath whose only the “hero” because he focuses primarily on killing Supes who usually happen to be even worse than he is. Minus the few things he cares about, there’s nothing grey about Billy, he’s just a slightly lighter shade of black to the villains’ pure black.

I mean, Eren was morally grey for most of the run until he went off the deep end with the Rumbling. GTFO with Light or Billy Butcher though

Sakura was a literal puppet to be used in that fight. Chiyo carried nearly everything to really call that a win for Sakura but I get you.

Author is definitely a fan of Naruto, he’s only repeating basically every mistake Kishimoto made including the worst one for me: Have a fuck ton of characters, yet have 99% of them never do anything and be utterly useless against the villain. Sakura and Bakugo would seriously relate to each other at this point.

It’s why the mobile game business model has been thrown into console games which unlike consoles, are not free to play and your paying the usual $60-70 price tag for a game with loads its content behind a pay wall to nickel and dime you more. Humans were always involved in the plot. Even with the first game being a war between Umbral Witches and Lumen Sages who exploited the powers of Inferno and Paradiso respectably. Third game just seems to be taking that exploitation to its logical conclusion That Viola character is fucking lame. Her appearance, her dialogue, even her voice is all cringe.
