OBD Convo #31: as long as we are in the path of justice, dont be afraid

Yes I consider that infinitely merciful compared to the alternatives, still horrendously evil but the fact is it's prefrable I mean if you want a infinitely better example of ainz being a petty asshole use this from volume 14 AInz condemns entire families to the worst torture imaginable while letting them think they're going to a safe place, while internally grinning about sending them to a torturer, all because they killed a man ainz planned to kill from the start, a man ainz could easily resurrect with a wave of his hand. I just don't consider arche a good show of pettiness, evil and cruelty? Yes definitely. Pettiness eh. I never argued about ainz being an evil ass hole though? Simply that the example you were using is often misunderstood/a poor show of how petty he can be since it wasn't a moment of ainz letting his cruelty/pettiness get the better of him but a planned out sequence of events the workers and ainz emotions had little impact on. As for the late reply? I was...

OBD Convo #31: as long as we are in the path of justice, dont be afraid

I mean what he did was very much a mercy compared to her friends (Whom by authors twitter still haven't been given the mercy of death of death at this point despite one being a vegetable and the others being used as puppets/nest by a flesh parasite), you seem upset at something that to me seems incredibly petty/minor in the grand scheme of what happened. Ainz not taking part/intereacting with them at all would be the exact same, them not pissing of ainz would be the exact same. The only effect they had on their fate was killing arche rather then having her suffer. Like I get being pissed at ainz for doing it/allowing it but I don't really get being pissed about ainz fit of anger/cruelty. He signed off on these people being tortured to the worst extents imaginable when demiurge came up with the plan. Be upset at that. The moment of emotion/anger doesn't really matter or affect what happened to them. Yes ainz is incredibly stupidly petty, Ive never denied that, but this probably...

I think you misunderstand my point, I never claimed ainz couldn't stop it, quite simply that they're actions in no way affected the plan. Ainz is a petty asshole but him not sparing them isn't a result of them upsetting him in the moment, it's a result of that literally being the plan. As I said nobody that entered that tomb was going to leave it, that was always the idea and nothing arche and her group did mattered after they set foot in the tomb. (The most they changed was arche getting a swift death which literally nobody else in the tomb got the mercy of) Reread my points I never claimed ainz couldn't stop it, or that this situation wasn't entirely the result of him being evil (TBf you can also put some blame demiurge being a dick, the plans a bit outside ainz capabilities/thought processes. But ainz has the authority to say no stop it and doesn't so the ultimate blame falls to him). Just that him getting upset over his friends quite simply did not matter in the scheme of things.

Im not? Im pointing out ainz being upset didn't change or affect his plans at all, literally nothing they did mattered, they were all going to suffer horrendously and die from the moment they entered the tomb. Ainz getting upset about his friends quite simply did not matter in relation to the fate of arche and her group... Please find me a place where I excused what ainz did/claimed it wasn't hilariously evil. Im just pointing out I feel the events get tied together to somehow imply their suffering was due to them upsetting ainz, which isn't the case. Every single person that entered nazarick that day was tortured or died horribly because that was the plan from the start Of course ainz has control over what happened/how it happened. Where do I imply otherwise? Again my point was simply the fate of the workers wasn't affected by them upsetting ainz.

TBF ainz rage has nothing to do with what happened to her? They were going to be tortured and slaughtered regardless, nobody that set foot within the tomb was ever leaving. The only difference between what happened in cannon and what would happen if they hadn't used ainz freinds names/begged for arches life is arche would have lived through her torture. I understand being disgusted by what happened but I feel like people associate ainz anger at them with what winds up happening...When that was the plan from the start, nothing they did or said affected the plan beyond killing arche early on rather then keeping her alive for horrendous experiments.
