Commuter tends to be a role that can only self-target. In effect it removes the player from the game for a night. Being targetable is a convention that leans more into the heavy role madness style you're more familiar with.

Lesson really is just negative utility claims. For example, if you're a beloved princess you probably shouldn't claim it if it applies at night too, same with hated. Miller etc obviously do get claimed. Rule of thumb I like to follow is - if my faction as a whole benefits from knowing, it should be claimed, if they don't then keep it hidden.

I evidently couldn't steer the day where I wanted, because I repeatedly asked for a claim from Dalton and to hold the lynch and got neither. I understand that you're not happy with your lynch, I don't expect you to be, and I also understand that having your legacy be ignored is frustrating, but that doesn't mean I just had the chance to play Kingmaker and slept at the wheel. My position was to sit back and let you solve, and not spend it defending yourself. Would have been pretty optimal had it a) been allowed to develop and b) been listened to afterwards.

Don't really think you can accuse me of that after Day 3, though. Not really sure how else I could have approached that. I was dead Night 3, so it's not like I could put your legacy into action.

I still don't know why you and Ultra repeat this sentiment. I posted in 9 hours before the day ended - I can't just know that Ultra would happen to be asleep for 8 of them.

You didn't need to - you received a vest Night 4, which you wouldn't have had you been commuted. Assuming that Craig had jailed Phenom was suboptimal, because you didn't have that as evidence. At the very least, it should have moved Phenom into the immediate PoE.

Great game though, Gram. Was super fun.

Was disappointed that the Town dropped the ball so many times. Phenom was confirmed scum to both Lethal and X once he claimed to have commuted X Night 4, and yet neither pushed it (Lethal began to, and then got ignored, by everyone). Lethal being lynched was horrendous - the OP lists out action resolution, which would have confirmed that the narrative spun, that Doddsy had affected Ultra's Hider, was impossible, because Hider resolves first. But nobody caught on to this. Lastly, X forgetting he had claimed Hated, along with everyone else forgetting it, was the death knell. Scum had a few bad mistakes, like bussing Doddsy despite him healing X to get the credit for healing. But overall, they played a better game than the Town did, and deserved to win. Dalton MVP, obviously.

Well, that's a hammer anyway. Would like a claim from Dalton tomorrow if he isn't Vigged, likewise would like BPD to claim then too. Will see what the flip is.

The mini Evans wagon was pretty silly. For context it was about 4am in Brit time, so yes of course he will be leaving the thread shortly. I'm also not sure how any of those involved, including Lethal, thought it was a solid direction with it being established he won't be here for a while to comment on it. If it was pressure, fine, but it would need to hold for a good 8 hours at which point we once again would run the risk of needing to swap votes late or no lynch. Seeing BPD and Ultra latch onto it makes me think that they just don't care who we lynch. The insincere posturing BPD had around recanting his desire to claim (I can get the post) felt awfully coy, and frankly unearned. We are not going to lynch a player for a internally-consistent but somewhat outlandish trio of scum. Not on Day 3.

I mean, if I'm scum here I would absolute deserve due credit, because almost the whole game thought I was town just yesterday. I'd have successfully pushed your slot over and I'd have done it so well, even you haven't promoted going after me once you flip. It's not really that interesting a take. It's just noise. There is no reasoning or evidence, uncharitably I would say it's shade.
