I don’t like to debate “why would Player X do this as scum when Player Y is defending them for it” - it’s self explanatory. I didn’t say he was definitely doing a gambit, I said it’s more plausible to me than two vigs.
It’s not fence sitting, I’ve taken a very clear position that we should resolve the two roles and how we will resolve the two roles. It is a domino set up, but then that’s how PoE works in mafia. A lot of the time you surmise Player X’s alignment based on the flip of Player Y. You’ll map out which players you’ll look at if someone flips town or if they flip scum.
TMI is saying that I don’t believe we have two vig roles in the game? I find it a more likely possibility that Ratchet cc’d Melkor as a gambit than us having two multi shot vig roles, so I see the need to resolve both. And I’ve given my preference for how we resolve the two roles.
Haha. Jokes aside even though it’s a very different scenario, it’d have been the optimum situation in the big picture if we shot each other - as Hime doesn’t get lynched and we deal with Gad a phase earlier neither seem fake, but it’s the best way to resolve it
It’d be throwing as either alignment. As scum though he could just say “I’m gonna post shit early doors as I don’t wanna play and you can bus me.” Or “I’m just gonna be annoying as people (such as Lord Melkor) would think no way I’d do this as scum.”
Even if we just look at the best case scenario is he’s being lazy, obnoxious town that will probably cost us later. In that scenario, we can get a claim so we know where to direct him. Obviously the other possibility is he’s scum and so wagoning him makes sense. In full disclosure I’ve not read the back and forth between you and Ultra as I have been out and so on my phone intermittently to play
