Has there been any recent news about this since this video?
I saw a news article about adapting CFYOW, though it could just be rumors.
Also I think Kubo said he was working closely on the anime and might change some things.

Sounds promising. If you get a chance to recorrect and/or add some thigns to your final arc of the manga being animated, migth as well jump in and do it right.
The series is set for release in October 2022.
