I mean it's interesting now and again, urban fantasy definitely has its own appeal, but I admit I do prefer a straight up fantasy most of the time.

I feel it allows for more creativity when the author builds the world from scratch, as opposed to just using ours. Though Kubo did have Soul Society and Hueco Mundo on that front (even if the latter felt very under explored to me).

that's what they had said about this, a long time ago
