I see we have people lurking here from SB. If you are just make an account and talk to us. We have our boy @Thegoldenboy2188 compiling a to aru feats thread and I'm sure head appreciate you guys giving him a hand in that. This way everyone can know exactly what To Aru can do instead of just going off of potentially misleading information
Aw, Thanks for the shoutout. I'll definitely have to get off my ass and finish vol 1 today then.

@OtherGalaxy

These old TF threads are a trip
never forget that it's canon if optimus prime was there he would've handled it :russ

>I chose not to respond in his latest posts, so he legit makes a thread to basically "Try and antagonize me at"
Man, I haven't met someone so pathetic in a long ass time

And how do I know he's explicitly doing that to antagonize me?
He literally at'd me twice when I didn't respond:

It's just a goddamned LN dude, get some help...

What's even funnier is that the immediate responses are also wrong:
"Touma can just null Rhongomyniad and LB Zeus's Lightning"
Didn't Misaka lvl 6 show explicitly Touma cannot negate Esper Abilities of that magnitude immediately? And Misaka at that level of power is no Rhongomyniad or LB Zeus. Hell, most Servants would be too much for him at all BECAUSE of that issue.

"He can defeat Tiamat by punching"
Tiamat is a BEAST, not a Servant. She is explicitly alive at that point and punching her wouldn't mean or matter worth shit.

Again it's absolutely weird they are doing this because they keep pretending that the Rules of the Nasuverse must bend to the rules of Imagine Breaker... despite the fact that Servants are a natural defense of the Planet itself AND there's an Anti-Magecraft weapon in the Nasuverse and it doesn't instant-kill Servants or Noble Phantasms either:
Rule Breaker (All Charms Must Be Undone)
Rank: C+
Type: Anti-Magecraft Noble Phantasm
Range: 1
Max. Targets: 1 person
A dagger that undoes any and all magecraft.
An ultimate anti-magecraft Noble Phantasm that turns objects strengthened by magic, relationships formed by contracts and lifeforms created with magic back to how they were before they were made.
The Witch of Betrayal Medea’s Divinity given physical form as a magical weapon.
It’s as weak as a weapon as it looks like, just as lethal as any normal knife.

3 Servants canonically get stabbed by this, none of them die off or anything whatsoever.

literally every stand user there could physically beat Touma in the ground anyway

Well except the literal cripple I guess
Eh, no I know this is a joke but unless your talking about Dio no stand user is gonna be beating Touma up without his stand.

Dude's capable of reacting to lightning in the first volume, and yes while he does think it's only coincidence remember that he has apparently never lost a fight against Misaka and in chapter 1 he explicitly fights her for over 2 hours without a scratch. So either thats a mighty amount of coincidence or he's really underestimating himself.

This isn't even accounting later volumes where he apparently can survive being hit by at supersonic speeds so hard he literally skips across a lake like a stone.

Normal human my ass. Touma is a 100% superhuman.

So are the stand users, the only questionable one is johnny cause he's a literal cripple

Narancia in Gio's body beat the world standing jump record several times over and Giornio in his own body got punched by Green Day and wasn't pasted

Giornio is also arguably the weakest person there, even a fodder vampire would fold Touma

Eh, no I know this is a joke but unless your talking about Dio no stand user is gonna be beating Touma up without his stand.

Remember that Stand Users are also buffed by their Stands, it's why they have such a high recovery rate compared to most Humans.
And the various people here also have to react as well as their Stands(Not all of them are like Jotaro where they can use their Stand to boost themselves).

BASE Kenpachi vs BANKAI Byakuya? Oh for fucks sake, you can't be serious here? 🤣

This reminds me of the old Digimon argument that Imperialdramon Fighter Mode was on par with Omegamon based on the Armageddemon fight. Despite the fact that, if you had a working pair of eyes and actually payed attention to how well they performed in said fight, you could see that was pretty fucking far from the truth.

Give the Imperialdramon fans credit though, THEY at least weren't deluded enough to claim their guy was superior despite blatant evidence to the contrary. So they actually have a leg up on the Kenpachi squad here. :maybe

Normal human my ass. Touma is a 100% superhuman.
Its my general assumption most series with any form of combat possess at least some nominally superhuman shit

Hell, Angel no Densetsu is a gag manga about overreacting to a scary/ugly kid and they have feats of throwing people several meters into and through the air and snapping a tree in half

So I observed a bit of an interesting exchange on YouTube of all things but this regards Elden Ring, and in particular, how Maelina compares to Radahn. One of the commentators asserted that because Radahn was called the Conqueror of Stars and the Starscourge, he was the greatest. Another person replied that Maelina was still able to hold her own, and had the strength to easily stab Radahn and inflict him with the Scarlet Rot that would later drive him mad and bestially insane in the following years. The narration backs this as the game's lore repeatedly states Radahn and Maelina were the strongest and greatest of Marika's children of all the demigods and that Maelina's and Radahn's battle ended with "no victor". Comparatively, Godrick the Grafted, is a distant relative and is referred to as the "runt" and weakest possessing a Great Rune shard of the Elden Ring. The same poster said that if Maelina could penetrate and damage Radahn, and trade blows, she had parity with him.

The other guy didn't agree from what I saw. And yes I know these are youtube comments but I still find it interesting.

What even IS ToAru lore anymore? I've tried reading and watching it and I always get lost. Like, its starts simple enough, and then it just descends into this 5-d chess game between God, gods, ancient conspiracies and a something sealed in a boy's arm. Its so weird. Why are multiple people drawing power from the top angel in Jewish and Christian Mythos? What is the IB and why can it beat said people drawing on the power of Heaven's most powerful angel? Who the hell is Fiamma and why is she a planet-buster?

Speaking to the choir there...

You ask very good questions. And I could not begin to tell you either because.. I could not begin to tell you.

Speaking to the choir #2...
Seriously I'm not even kidding when I say this:
I have no earthly idea of what the hell even happens in To Aru and despite how I can come off, it's NOT from a lack of trying. I actually do look over it multiple times and even mull it over for minutes to even an hour after that. The fact that I can't even begin to fathom how Kamachi writes down feats and writing tips at times absolutely confuse the shit out of me and I'm the same guy that will absolutely go out of my way to look at something from multiple viewpoints(It's why I even like FFXIII in the first place).

So before any guests think otherwise; I don't hate To Aru, I hate debating it.

first guy is pretty much how I see it
Radahn and Malenia are the top dogs, Radahn is straight up called the strongest, but Malenia clearly has parity and their fight ended in a draw, so I consider them on the same tier

unrelated to power levels but I'm thinking Godrick is probably of Godwyn's lineage given they have the same title and
Godwyn's head is in Godrick's castle
