Like I said, WoG matters if the scenes in question actually support it and it sticks towards that. Someone in Death Battle Podcast say that the characters in the show are Lightning Speed... but is there anything that supports that outside of that random thing in Volume 3? Nope. And thus it doesn't count.
Same thing with CW Flash believing Barry Allen is still at Mach 10 when he does things that go way beyond it, including going back and forward in time which is the same deal there.

Actually she's WAY higher than that in terms of DC by the end of the series to the point you can actually put her at Island+ level at the end of it.
 
Like let me put this as an example:
In the latest RWBY volume, we had the characters literally state that Ruby's Semblance basically turns her into molecules(as well as who she touches) and basically removes all mass from them in the process...
Except outside of the ONE TIME that was demonstrated, every other time showed her explicitly having mass while still in that state.
Thus WoG is contradicted because it's clearly obvious it's a retcon that doesn't fit with how the ability has been shown before or since, especially since they like to equally say they have been planning this from the start.
 
Then my point still stands. the badass miko oneshots with one swing. Hell, she could probably do it with the loaf of bread she pointed at Karasuba after grocery shopping instead of using her blade.

Yeah then he murders Kakine for free then. Seriously, Magical Index needs to be explained by @CrossTheHorizon or Musubi whenever they are done with their look through because while it is strong, SB acts like they are Marvel-DC tier when they absolutely aren't.
 
IDK how he does against Godhead Darkseid whose pretty textbook Omniversal but Limbo level stuff and above is probably too much for IG Thanos

Negating energy and transforming someone back into a human is not exactly comparable to what Kakine does.
He changes the laws of nature based on which the matter and energy you are made from work. What you wanna look for are feats of resisting the laws of physics being changed, not energy being negated.

idg why every DC cosmic thread I see nobody will actually spell out how DC's cosmology measures up to Marvel's, or even how DC's cosmology works. They just say they're stronger arbitrarily.

Okay, to be clear:


-Each Universe in the Orrery of Worlds has infinite divergent realities derived from it given any moment or event in time, meaning it functions like Many Worlds Interpretation. We see this at work in Superman + REBELS and the Fourth Parallel. This is multiversal+.

-That makes the Orrery of Worlds 52x megaversal as it's effectively 52 multiverses just called universes because MWI stuff it's complicated

-Outside the Orrery of Worlds across the Bleedspace and Hypertime is infinite other elsewords, dimensional planes, multiverses, etc. So megaversal+

-The Godsphere is a platonic conceptual realm beyond all space and time that sees the lower spaces as mere ficticious shadows. All depictions of Darkseid in fourth world prior to Final Crisis are mere shadow emanations to the true gods that are abstractions beyond infinite multiverses, dimensions, timelines, etc. So omniversal

It just stacks up from there.

Ben has been transmogrified in universe by Reed for his honeymoon specifically, so that might work, but he still fought Immortal Hulk, so he's probably much too fast for Kakine.

I wouldn't use what Reed "I can literally make a Machine to go to Heaven" Richards can do and equal it out to Kakine...
Like I said before, I feel alot of people wank the fuck out of Magical Index, especially since their power is like Pseudo-Reality Marbles(and I do mean Pseudo, they aren't even like Reality Marbles or Domain Expansion and can be easily defeated by them) and isn't that impressive when you put it into that context.
 
Tbh, in DC, you need Michael tiers of raw power to beat IG Thanos, he's a Bonafide top tier in Marvel, anything Molecule Man level/Tiamut level is just stomping territory.

Lucifer with his Ebony blade could probably beat him though, more raw power+ he's smarter.

I mean, as said, it's not just transmutation. It's having your laws of nature changed which results in you falling apart to sand, as that's just how your matter behaves with the new laws.
It's that Kakine produces a type of matter following different laws of nature. The interaction between that matter and regular matter creates phenomenons not following the regular laws of nature, which in turn can transform the regular matter into yet different matter that doesn't follow the laws of nature. And it is said different matter that doesn't follow the laws of nature that just doesn't want to stick together.

So you have to undo that your matter now follows different laws if you want to go back to your regular body.

But yeah, Ben's probably too fast. Kakine is just Mach 100 or somewhere in the realtivistic area depending on how you scale him.
 
Like, i believe you, but creating a respect thread would make this much more convincing to the vast majority.

It's just hard to imagine my fav characters getting beat by animu boy #1683751
