Sillier than To Aru scaling even?

Poor Leon

Ah the type of debate of

Taking feats of someone on their strongest showed in the series vs feats of someone who just only able to know what he can and can't, and that only a fraction of the full extend

Typical fanboy debater

That's hilarious considering that actually happens so much in Spacebattles and then downplay a series they don't like into the ground.

Sillier than To Aru scaling even?
profoundly dumber

Transformers is a series of constant retcons completely recontextualizing fiction from decades ago and inflating it to stupidly strong levels by accident, I don't think hardly any of the writers had any clue what they were doing considering some of the earlier feats were presented as universal and ended up getting fleshed out to be hilariously beyond that

You know I've been trying to find this mythical Transformers RT you made. 8 pages in MB and can't find it.

You sure it exists?

Is it like Kamachi saying that there is only one universe, but then a few years later saying that there is an infinite multiverse (an infinite number of infinite multiverse)?

You just didn't get what he meant by that smh.

Besides, KAMACHI didn't say it, Kamisato did.
Not to say that he isn't knowledgeable, but sitll.

TES not only has infinite alternate versions of every realm created all the time (should the ruler of said realm wish it to be so), but also infinite levels going up (and possibly also down, going by Clockwork City), each level very explicitly infinitely greater than the last.

However, Dovahkiin doesn't scale to that. The best they get is universal+ (although possibly higher to some degree of multiversal depending on Paarthunax referencing a Dragon Break in relation to Alduin getting banished, and Schick saying that Alduin's return is similar in scope to a Planesmeld or Dragonbreak.

SB trying to make the equivilant of a Circus thread is always something to behold

I always fucking laugh that an SB'er actually believes they use "critical thinking" to "destroy calcs from other boards" when most of the time, it's just crying that a feat exists they don't like and basically shout it down and have others join it.
There is zero "critical thinking" done in the slightest. There is more critical thinking done in CV and VSB for fuck's sake.

god the fucking ego of that place is what gets me lol

That's why I enjoy having the mods and other people get so fucking pissy with us. They need a legit humbling and people need to realize SB is just straight shit as a Versus Board all things considered as even other VS. Boards see them as just trash pretending they have the actual class and maturity it doesn't have.

This post right here symbolizes the absolute fucking worst of their hubris and unearned arrogance:

*Barely uses any calcs these days*
*Calcs usually ignore basic bitch shit like Kinetic Energy and otherwise*
And it's funny that "much of it's DNA came from Star Trek vs. Star Wars" because it truly points out how they should stick to actual space series(no wait, they shouldn't either considering how hard they downplay Star Wars Tech).

No the fuck you don't and a good look at Overlord and One Punch Man proves that beyond a shadow of a doubt. VSB has more people actually looking for evidence than you fucks do, VSB just wanks it to an insane degree until someone slaps it down, if ever but they actually DO have basis for their madness. You legit have people say that Garou is Planetary and FTL despite him not showing the former and the latter is a massive reach of him just being Relativistic and Overlord is just LOL.

1. Pot meet Kettle
2. That's not how that works. Yes, Outliers exist but that's the key problem with immediately jumping on something being an outlier:
If the feat is only done twice, then scaling must ALSO take into effect. Psykos Orochi attack being Continental and shaving off the Planet by the logic must ALSO be an outlier despite that not being the case and WHY going to that extreme is fucking stupid.
This is exactly WHY scaling is fucking important.

mmm, it's probably because:
1. You are playing a video game and for balancing purposes, those few armed guards are usually that strong for gameplay/story purposes
2. Those armed guards are actually very goddamned powerful

Um yeah? Power DOES exist in a Vacuum, this is fucking retarded and anti-thetical to a VS. debate, no wonder these jokers get made fun of by VSB. Are they trying to judge this shit by real world standards which doesn't work for fiction(and Real Life has many elements that actually fits most of the shit we know about fiction, crazy enough).

the hobby has changed in general, across all forums even us, and skewed towards higher interpretations (besides on SB)

but I think looking at it from the time I joined vs now, roughly 10 years ago (geez) we honestly were just kinda shit at evaluating things and lowballed the fuck out of everything to a fault

why did it take until a few years ago for multiversal TTGL to get accepted when that was in the original show from the beginning? And yet no forum was using that, Galo's research has ended up getting used on other forums and was a basis for VSB's ttgl pages lol

you can apply this to a lot of other series, I think our ability to evaluate a series as a whole, has improved quite bit

SB hasn't changed much since I was a teenager

That's pretty much true.
In the past(Even in places like GameFAQs VS debates), everyone pretty much lowballed feats and called out feats that didn't seem to make "much sense" at the beginning and stuck with the lowest interpretations possible.
But that has now changed into higher level interpretations being more accepted usually due to how the various series more or less operated on(Not through sight alone but more of director intent and reading through statements that fit that intent like with Castlevania and Dracula being the Dark Lord "opposite to God")
