Why yes, Lucifero does infact crush Fate.

..Since when did either of them react to it, huh?

Because it takes place in an entirely different dimension like all summons do, dumbfuck.

I was going to talk about the Final Fantasy 7 Ultimania where the info is from... but I forgot something important...
DID THESE FUCKS MISS CRISIS CORE? OR BEFORE CRISIS? OR EVEN BLOODY ADVENT CHILDREN?

Hell, Before Crisis is extremely egregious for this as virtually the entire plot is that it was powering up someone to be Sephiroth-tier only for when it was unleashed to basically damn the World and the Player Turk destroys it.

Like fuck the other dimension nonsense, you are literally attacked by the Summons post-FFVII in the Compilation and they still have the same moves they use in their summons AGAINST YOU! Sephiroth even had to fight Ifrit if I'm right and bail Zack out.
Like you have to be brain-dead to basically pretend that their damage they can do is somehow limited when later games in the series and ESPECIALLY Final Fantasy IX explicitly implies the opposite:

And even if, even IF you want to say "But the battle is gameplay", the lore of what Materia are as a whole? That's not debatable because what IS Materia in FFVII lore exactly?

(Yeah, it's a wiki but what I'm going to pull from it is explicitly stated in the Kalm Flashback which is easily found there as well as actually backing up it's sources for the other info on what Materia is)

The knowledge and wisdom of the Ancients is held in the materia. Anyone with this knowledge can freely use the powers of the Land and the Planet. That knowledge interacts between ourselves and the planet calling up magic... or so they say.

So yeah, people who keep refuting that it's just gameplay can go fuck right off, Materia literally benefits you in many ways and it literally comes from the Lifestream which has been expanded upon to be just as nonsense as it was heavily implied in FFVII(as Sephiroth's entire plan was to gather all of the Lifestream in one place, absorb it and become a God, that's why he wanted to WOUND the Planet with Meteor)

EDIT: Hell, Dirge of Cerebus has Cloud outright state the reason they didn't use Materia in Advent Children and barely use Materia in Dirge of Cerebus is because it's heavily implied that Materia literally draws from the Lifestream itself to use their abilities and what happened in FFVII, it needs all the strength it has to repair the damage... fucking oops.

Honestly, I don't even think they know how strong Mira Yoo is so at this point, I'm fucking confused on why they think she can defeat Artoria really.

Yeah it's almost like the planet in FF7 is fuck off strong on top of the fact that Sephiroth doesn't even use Supernova UNTIL HE'S ABSORBED A GOOD CHUNK OF THE LIFESTREAM ALREADY.

Like come on.

Damn, this guy's spitting.

The answer to that is simple:
Spacebattle users don't actually like people bringing in facts and logic, it likes people bringing in things that make them feel better and root for.
It's clearly obvious that Meteor literally regenerated when the Rocket smashed into it because it's outright stated in the fucking cutscene that's what's happening. It is outright stated that Holy could stop Meteor but the Planet itself refused to do so and even helped it as it's seen Humans as a blight to it and wanted them dead(Which the Lifestream literally OVERCAME METEOR AND HOLY at the same time with help from Aerith, proving Ancients actually have a fair degree of control over this shit)

I don't even have to go to alternative material and neither did that guy because all of this is explained IN GAME.

And actually, Sephiroth didn't absorb any of the Lifestream canonically yet. Supernova is literally from him as a whole and Jenova.

..huh?

Some of that is actually true, Ragna is a monster but on the other hand, dude is vastly overplaying his abilities relative to Servants and again ignoring that Servants themselves are Lightspeed capable with reactions just as fast, if not faster than Ragna and even stronger than he is.

Even the "take away Mana" deal isn't even new to Servants and while it is effective, it's not enough to de-materialize a Servant instantly as Servants have a fuckton of Mana to work with(something SB never understands at all).

Oh no I get all that but he said he could beat fucking Surtr

Oh no I get all that but he said he could beat fucking Surtr

Ah yes, someone who has the same weapon on the class of Rhongomyniad, literally dusted the Nine Realms and failed attack on the Planet basically razed it all anyway and virtually made it uninhabitable but for 100,000 people...
It's like they look at Napoleon "blew his head off" with everything he had and Bryn and Sigurd doing enough damage to kill him = Surtr is weaksauce and ignore how that how that happened and why.
