High level swordsmen can negate regen (See Alpha vs experimented on Monster) and he was in a situation where his magic was suppressed.

And he can restructure his body as needed, including growing a new heart. It does take time, but he can keep his blood flowing with magic while the process happens.

I legit cannot fathom how people have no clue on how Cu's Gae Bolg works to this day...
It's like people miss that yeah, it can pierce your Heart unless you have World-Altering Luck... but just like in the real myth, if it actually pierces your Heart, it will then pierce you in every single cell in your body at once, not just your heart:





It is absolute death not even a Magus of Bazett's calibur could do anything but slowly die or even Karna, willpower incarnate, could do anything more but a weakened Vasavi Shakti.
Cid restructuring his Heart ain't doing shit when it tears your entire body to shreds.

Are you sure you ain't making that cell thing? I know that spikes are supposed to leave your body like an iron maiden victim but cell? Karna looks fine (Well, as fine as you can be with all your cells punctured.)
 
Other than that, It doesn't seems fair to diss that thread, since it's basically 1 vs everyone out. Its just one person being idiotic, rather than the entire community being one.

Karna's willpower is such he can exist without a Saint Graph(something verifying his existence) at all:
Here, Karna notes that he used the last of his strength fighting God Arjuna and he doesn't even have his Spirit Origin(The Foundation of a Spiritual Being's Existence) anymore and is literally there by Sheer force of will, Meuniere confirms that his Magical Energy is gone and here's there by sheer force of will.

And the cell destruction isn't hyperbole as shown when Bazett dies in the HA ending(I cannot type that name down) and in Cu's Materials:

Fate/side material - Encyclopedia: Barbed Spear that Pierces with Death [Noble Phantasm], p.061-062 [T]
In order to evade Gae Bolg, one would require Noble Phantasms that automatically resurrected the target after death like that of Berserker's, or a high degree of Luck sufficient to negate the curse of the spear.
To put it into game terms, it would be an insane Noble Phantasm with a base damage plus an additional component that scaled with the target's HP.
For example, if Saber's HP was 100, then Gae Bolg's damage would be (Spear Damage + 100). She would absolutely be dead if it hit.

I don't think it would go that far. In the previous debate, I tried going by VS as country+ as in old debates, and no one refuted it. Also, it was accepted as high-ranking servants are country+ a few years back, so what caused people to suddenly drop them for there to only mountain+? Plenty of old debators from Naus and the opposing side should be active, so why did the downplay succeed?

Vasavi Shakti is a hell of alot stronger than Country+. Ahkellius Kosmos literally has a Greek Texture as a Shield and VS destroyed that. It's Planetary at minimum. SB takes it as Country because they can't really go lower than that.

In a sense yes, but High Ranking Servants should be higher than that too but I know this is SB so yeah.

Because those same debaters in SB try and placate to the downplayers too much vs. what the story tells you outright, which is what they don't do with most Novels. It's also the case of "stare more at the downplaying moments without getting proper context" like Lancelot's Transformed F-15 keeping up with Gilgamesh's Vimana or him being able to pin down Saber and her needing a truck to get to him being taken out of context to Servants will die to bullets(When Diarmuid was able to literally deflect bullets from Kiritsugu no problem in the same series) and Saber only used the truck as a distraction and Lancelot's Knight of Owner fully enhances anything he touches to insane degrees.
