It's not an antimagic field, it's a magic eraser. Disjunction can turn off antimagic fields, even. Even artifacts made with the D&D gods' power can potentially be erased using the spell.

Whether it was MFTL movement, MFTL reactions, or whatever, it's a massive outlier that nobody should seriously consider legit. Touma moves at peak human speed, has peak human durability, and can react to lightning from some distance anyway. Thats as good as it gets.
