It honestly tends to be a weird thing, to be frank.
Some franchises do tend to understand this to some degree(As Masterblack stated, Toriko is one of them and hilariously, the Nasuverse tends to er on that side as well give or take some deals whenever it comes towards Servants and/or DA's-DAA's) but most of them tend not to because they are authors and tend not to understand that heat = energy from molecules vibrating and cold is stillness of those molecules(Unironically Jojo got this correct with White Album) and thus anyone who can shoot fire should also be able to shoot ice as if they can control the vibration of their molecules, they should be able to stop it as well.
That's not even getting into how you need to make Lightning work in any actual practical degree...

And to suggest Unohana CAN'T do that or to at least to ask for evidence to prove she can is apparently the equivalent of saying SS Rukia > Unohana at kido according to this idiot.
The fact he unironically doesn't realize his argument is just as stupid as this, but working on the other extreme (ie she's clearly top tier at kido despite having no feats, fuck you if you don't think so) is just hilarious to me.
And yes obviously he brought the Byakuya quote for Danku blocking all below Lvl90 but then just flatout ignored me bringing up the Tessai vs Aizen scene where they were SHOCKED that Aizen's danku managed to block Tessai's shit.

Also Unpatched, Shikai Kenpachi proceeded to get absolutely bodied by Gerard right after that so.
And that same Kenpachi was proven repeatedly to be a jobber to any of the Elites, while Urahara is actually a significant threat to one in a powered up state.
No, Kisuke is straight up bodying Unohana because he is demonstrably more powerful by feats.

Like yeah, Fairy Tail "Power of Friendship" bullshit is real and I can fully understand why people can and will bring it up because virtually all fights in Fairy Tail jump into it. And while people do bring up Gilgamesh's ego, they aren't also equally falling deep into the abyss with it like others do.... and most of them are outright stating that Gilgamesh would bury Erza so there's that.
If she's used then it was only in filler and, even if it wasn't, she doesn't have the feats to block Urahara's kido anyway.
