Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 5: Diamonds are fleeting. Stupid lasts forever

Normally I don't pick on this little dude, XCano, or bring up threads from Spacebattles for that matter, but:

I think the T-1000 could just scatter Dio until he runs out of energy to bring himself back. The house fire nearly killed him, and Straizo later on is exhausted after recovering from the grenades. After a few splatterings I figure Dio will similarly be straining to regenerate, since it's not like he has unlimited life energy.

I'm also not sure if freezing would work on the 1000, just given that it takes a lot more energy (or, well, energy loss) to freeze metal than to freeze flesh.

LOL what in the fuck?

I liked Terminator 2 as a movie and all, but isn't any haxed superhuman anime character worth their salt like literally way too much for any low-tier sci-fi movie characters like the T-1000?

I'm pretty sure he can beat the people canonically losing to some dinky ass undead hobo with a normal metal sword
I dont see him standing a chance against any of the higher tier people. He 100% isnt dealing with Manus, Seath, Kalameet or Neeto

Better question, how the fuck is he gonna survive the abyss to fight the four kings

:heston

Well aware.

Void Shiki never even does anything in Garden of Sinners besides gas themselves up

:hestonpls

I mean, thats kinda the point. Her Origin is [ ], so she became part of the Root by existing. Technically she could do anything the Root could do.....but the world is already the way the Root wants it to be so there's nothing for her to do.

Normal Shiki also can't do anything like that because Void Shiki canonically already knows everything that ever happened and could happen and is too bored with existence to ever actually act. Mikiya actually starting a family with Ryougi was the only thing that mildly caught her interest.

Also, we know that Void Shiki can't do everything anyway because Manaka exists and she still has to obey the rules of the Quantum Time Locks and The Counter Force which is why she needed to exploit loopholes and create a Beast to be able to break through those anyway to try and grant Arthur's wish.

But none of that takes away that Void Shiki, just like Manaka, is hideously powerful, just not insanely broken. Just another day in Astaro not understanding anything that has to do with the Nasuverse. It's either one extreme or the other with him.

Also the Root isn't actually all-powerful in the first place since the Counter Force wouldn't need to exist otherwise :zaru

Void Shiki is in the same place as Archetype Earth, i.e. will never actually get to do all the cool shit they can supposedly do because "character reasons"

Nah, Archetype: Earth literally did a "Moon-Earth" Drop in OC3, that puts far more to her name than anything from Void Shiki.
EDIT: There's also the fact she fought Servantverse Ciel at full power and won and then fought Chaldea immediately afterwards and lost due to doing both fights AND it's all but stated she could have done the drop faster but explicitly fucked with the Velocity the entire time to give them the chance to actually fight her.

t-1000 is about small building levels at best, with potential supersonic reactions, scaling from t-800, in the later movies, there are much stronger chars with better sci fi tech and feats, but still, in this fight for example, t-1000 loses even from part 1 jonathan, lel, one good hax feat that t-1000 has though, its very good regen and phase shifting, it's regen was so good, that despite being frozen and scattered, still it reformed, it needed a lot amount of molten lava, making it's default form null, and disabling it's ability to coalesce plus disabling also it's internal electronics system

attacks with way stronger impact and power can still render it unconscious = so, it's a loss in the obd either way, even if somebody can't fully destroy it, an example

none of this even matters because Tarkus shattering a cliffside is far in excess of anything the T-1000 deals with in the movie, and he gets literally overpowered and torn apart by Jonathan in seconds once Zeppeli passes his hamon to him. Jonathan and Dio are more or less equals. It's pretty straightforward powerscaling.

SB is dedicated to the most ridiculous self defeating lowballs for JoJo though. Actually using the house fire as your benchmark when Phantom Blood brings better feats afterwards is kind of insane. The Straights thing is fine but it's also not ever really indicated Straights is as strong as Dio was as a Vampire since Dio's just built different than everyone else. Like Joseph matches and beats Straights with no hamon training at all while Jonathan had to fight Dio to the last with training.

not that this matters or that anyone disagreed with it in this community but in Araki's recent villain guide book he apparently said the purpose pf the Pillar Men and Battle Tendency was always for it to be "more powerful" than Phantom Blood, so people trying not to scale Tarkus and Dio's feats upwards to Santana and the like are pretty clearly shot down. Before you ask, yes I've seen people actually say this is the case.

Yeah it seems regeneration and limited shapeshifting are T-1000's best tricks and trump cards up his sleeves this side of LA.

And yep freezing it kinda compromised its internal nanomachine-based system and practically FUBAR'd its ability to function with complete normalcy (its limbs briefly swapping between biker cop and LAPD officer mode is a sign that he has trouble maintaining his structural normality).

Even though it just simply takes any sufficiently high and potent projection of concentrated heat/energy (something like molten metal or plasma weaponry) or something biologically corrosive substance like acid or immersive saturative explosions or sustained kinetic energy from all angles at bare minimum to kill and destroy it for good, incapacitating or putting it down for good is still an uphill battle for anyone without any of those offensive options or equivalent powers I think.

Meanwhile, I just got slapped with a one month ban for a joke about the 50 million dollars we sent to Gaza for making condoms was so Hamas could fuck their goats with protection

Guess you can’t be offensive about even one of the most vicious modern day terrorists but FEP being a creepy ass nigga to other dudes online is perfectly fine

You can say that about alot of the franchises SB does, it's why I tend to basically laugh at how terribly SB does the Nasuverse at all and their recent "debunk" attempts at Lostbelt 7 and ORT is just so lolworthy now that I'm actually at the home stretch.

The easiest example is them consistently walling themselves at LB ORT being Planetary(if somehow below it) dying because it basically did the K-T Event... completely ignoring not only what the story itself states(Despite multiple geniuses and one that literally has Universal Awareness like a Comic Book character including some decent degree of foresight packaged with it) but the fact one of the characters dead ass state that one of the people even remotely within it's ballpark exerts more energy than the entirety of Human History(Which would mean that character is stronger than Goetia's entire Human Incineration Plan... which required energy onpar with a Galaxy)... because they completely misunderstood that Stellar got translated to Star in the Official Localization(When Stellar is literally another way of saying Star or Stars).

It's been obvious SB has been getting dumber and dumber when it comes to certain series(primarily because they consistently get the worst of the worst and they have no attempts at actual filters) and it's beginning to get even more rampant due to it.

Justicia also needs the holy grail ritual to amplify her to be able to do anything of note, and the UBW animation guide confirms her as yet another character who was connected to the root from birth.

Manaka seems to be the only one out of the 3 who actually derive something useful in combat from it

Pretty much. Void hasn't shown any actual combat with it, basically more being able to just fiddle with people's existence to a degree(Why Fujino was eligible to be a Counter Force Agent/Summon) and yeah Justicia/Justeaze needed the Holy Grail Ritual to access the Third Magic and for people to follow those steps.

So yeah, considering the nonsense Manaka did in Prototype and Prototype Fragments, she's the only one who has shown some actual combat abilities... still need to ultimately look through both of those for my own research.
