how can they be subsonic when as early as Yorknew characters were doing the feats you mentioned here? I don't expect them to use our calcs but stuff like that is pretty clear cut even from eyeballing.
Taking it further though, characters like Cheetu statued bullets but could still be perceived by Morel/Knov/Knuckle. Same Knuckle got completely blitzed by Rage Incarnate Youpi and couldn't see his movement at all. Pitou is almost certainly faster especially in their amped dead form.

Again, most likely recency bias. Doesn't help Spacebattles has a... weird ass take on how they perceive speed feats in certain franchises over others and how they bend over backwards to justify it to absolutely insane extremes even discounting how they see being faster than Lightning or Light itself.
There have been times where I have seen them state that Iida's speed when he became Ingenium is much, much faster than from stuff like Naruto... but there's nothing at all showing that Iida's speed is beyond even the shit you see in Pre-Timeskip Naruto. They will use anime clips completely out of context for charge up scenes at complete random even if it's at complete odds with how something is described and shown because they don't understand how cimenatology or framing works but ignore it for others.
It's been well known that Spacebattles... fucking sucks at actually practicing what they preach which is why they act as if Gojo and Sukuna's Mach 3+ is somehow faster than Netero's training he did, let alone how he's able to completely mimicking and perceive Meruem's Speed because simple:
They believe that Gojo and Sukuna are faster because of completely misunderstanding basic ass context and thus believe that Choso's Blood Cursed Technique must be faster than Base Mach when it's not to "statue it"
Most likely, issue is we know Obito can't do it for that long, Gae Bolg's effect actually works the instant Cu states the name and enough Magical Energy can do even a simple thing like distorting space.
