Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 5: Diamonds are fleeting. Stupid lasts forever

Like look at this shit:

Why should anyone take Overlord's retarded leveling system at it's word when in context, it's abilities and powers look like ass? This is what honestly gets me when it comes to both the SB and Reddit Overlord wank:

Outside of the Instant Death Spells(and none of them are even remotely as OP as they love saying they are), there is nothing shown in Overlord that even remotely matches A in strength, speed or durability but we are supposed to believe that Cocytus, the Room Floor Boss that has shown the least in terms of anything, is somehow his superior in strength despite that's not even true.
It fucking baffles the mind that for Overlord, taking the lore into account is the absolute priority despite not proving shit in terms of it's lore but if you dare say the same thing for The Elder Scrolls or other franchises, you would be laughed out of the forum apparently.
TBF cocytus does have one notable feat, where he was going to instantly kill a 100 meter tall tree monster with three hundred meter long limbs in a single blow (Described at blowing away it's lower half) Albedo tanked this blow and only injured her hand. Which implies albedos hand is more durable than the entirety of giant level eighty tree monster...Which has some weird implications in general. Beyond that I suppose he scales to ainz and lord wrath tanking nuclear blast, though ive still not seen a calc for the movie crater.

We know cocytus has the highest damage output among the warriors of the tomb/the highest dps in general due to have four divine class weapons and being a level 100 pure warrior build (Its stated he's in a three way rock paper sicissor situation with albedo and sebas)

The leveling system is weird for several reasons, for instance did you know their is an innate system that lowers your damage against higher level opponents? It's brought up in the evil eye side story despite cure elim having higher stats overall his damage was innately lowered/he had low odds of winning because his damage was being nerfed by being five levels lower then ainz.

Jiren oneshots, hands down. He just broke Hit his timecage, literally a much better feat then everything Accelerator can pull off (Yes, i include Platinum Wings too). Jiren breaking a time related ability>Vector related manipulation. Ignoring all of it, Accelerator is fodder in terms of stats.

Breaking out of a time cage, especially when the manga explains that Hit’s time powers are mulled by having a higher power level than him, doesn’t change the fact that Jiren still operates by vectors

Massive vectors sure, but not massive enough for current Accel to deal with, fucktard

Magick Flaming Sword >>>> the whole verse

Put Midgi against Nasuverse (loses) before even trying this, SB

Aladdin is even just a discount Accelerator

:hestonpls

It's everyone in each verse so everyone's at their peak.

The gods of the Magiverse are included in this all-out war.

Besides, Magi has an infinite hierarchy of worlds where the lower one is seen as just a work of fiction by the higher one, ad infinitum.

Featless wonders, it’s like me bringing up the Omnipotent Biblical God in Hebrew or perhaps Azathoth, the same one described in all of Lovecraft’s works IRL, who both exist in Toaru

Work with characters that are shown and have feats and don’t wank, buddy

Their relative feats against Renji suggest that Uryu gets trashed here.
Really? :really

Shikai Renji vs Base Uryu - Kicks an arrow away and clashes for a bit before immediately using his Bankai to then force Uryu into Vollstanding which shot Renji's Bankai to shreds.
Shikai Renji vs Base Gerard - Wraps Zabimaru around Gerard's arm trapping it even as he tries to pull free before Byakuya intervenes, taking Gerard's head off to trigger The Miracle.

Now correct me if I'm wrong but these would seem to favour Uryu in this comparison would they not? Or at least they don't speak to a significant difference.

Giant Gerard hasn't fought Bankai Renji and Vollstanding Uryu never fought Shikai Renji so I'm not sure how you would get Gerard > Uryu from Gerard breath diffing Shikai Renji, when Shikai Renji would have been one-shot just as easily by Vollstanding Uryu.

I do not understand in the slightest how they believe Young Kratos somehow stacks to Chaos despite never fighting him or any of the Protogeni whatsoever...

EDIT: Okay yeah, I screwed up there lol, she counts but it's not like Kratos dead ass killed her or Kronos on his own power.
Well at least the Kratos wanker admitted Shadow wins so it’s all good now :maybe

I mean I do understand where they're coming from. I personally think that maybe I have been overhyping D&D adventurers a bit, since the context of the setting means that they're extraordinary people but are otherwise rather normal. People who play 5e will tell you that a Level 5 Fighter isn't going to leap over a castle wall, and a wizard of the same level isn't going to warp reality with a flick of their wrist. Sure, they have resources, but they're mostly operating within human limits. Personally, as one of the main users that post about it, I do think the D&D wank has been getting out of hand and, while they may be somewhat superhuman, they're not that superhuman. Certainly not enough to go up against any Astartes.

On an unrelated note here's an ability that lets dudes walk on the air just by being good at martial arts.

anyone who can survive tarrasque should have no problem with an astartes

but tarrasque isn't really standard or level 5 so fair

Tbf the thread itself just specifies Faerun itself, meaning pretty much all Forgotten Realms characters are on the table...

...Which includes characters like Elminster who can easily solo 90% of 40k.

A lot of how strong DnD adventurers is can fall down to individual DMs. Which can be great for the games, but not so much for empirical measurements.

Like I remember my level 1 half-elf paladin was able to do to a goblin what Saitama did to Ground Dragon because the DM allowed it.
Hence why I only use stuff that's actually in the books themselves. I don't care if every game is technically canon to D&D, the whims of a DM is too much bullshit for me to deal with. (source: am forever DM)
