Dante VS Kratos. Both at their best.

Pretty sure it comes from Helios, and him being able to somewhat react to Hermes' speed.
Kratos never directly fought Helios, the dude was basically done by the time you get to him from Perses crushing and hurling him into the mountain side.

Hermes’ is not a good one to use since Kratos was able to tag him with a boulder launched from a catapult. Not to mention needing said catapult. Running speed in God of War is slow, it’s the select few reaction feats that are much higher like again, Kratos reacting to lightning in-game.

Haven't played Norse GOW yet but didn't the death of each of the Greek Gods that Kratos slaughtered cause worldwide calamities? Poseidon's death flooded the world up to Mount Olympus, Helios death created a thunderstorm around the globe to block out the Sun etc.

They did, yes.

Kratos can go LS with this :

Dunno why exactly we're contesting his speed here...

I'm not convinced by any of the arguments on the God of War side. Least of all the so-called 'lore' claims about Ygdrassil and Thor.

We've seen Persians invade in Chains of Olympus and their pantheon wasn't particularly affected.

Kratos sailed to Egypt in Fallen God and the gods there only have a passing knowledge of what happened in Greece.

Even any Atlas continental scaling is suspect given the already existing support pillars holding up Greece in addition to Atlas' support.

The Light Speed Hyperion thing? Read it again. It uses a Portal. Not real speed even.

It does mention the use of portals. Also since when is a claim of moving at light speed enough?

As for Lore, eh we do know the Greek Pantheon created at their own planet

But yeah, we got to see the feats in Ragnarok

Huh? Atlas was standing on top of the damaged pillar and was forced to hold up the entire thing

The entire plot of Chains of Olympus was that the Greek World would be doomed without that major pillar holding it up, which Atlas was forced to take the place of

Doesn't mean he's the only support there. Other natural formations can be seen even in God of War 3.

Or even in the Official art post-Chains of Olympus.
