This piece of info in the OP seems to suggests that there is A) a primary mafia alignment and B) some reason to obscure this information. So it could be multiball, but the emphasis there on Primary there kind of suggests otherwise? But there's no reason to obscure this information if something isn't different. So cautiously assuming this to be the case.

Something else that struck out to me - Psychic's flip shows that she can get extra kills every 3 cycles. This is breaking one of Gram's internal rules, which also might suggest something - I'm not quite sure what.

Isn't it usual in Gramm's games that the name of scum factions is know upon the first flip? This is as I recall - I have played two other games of his (GOT and MHW) and browsed through Elden Ring to check the setup.

I would expect a scum faction of 5 and 1 or 2 hostile indies, but maybe there are some suprises. The stress mechanic for example is something new.
