Death Battle Discussion

There aren't a lot of memorable werewolves in fiction. So it's hard to find a well known werewolf to feature in death battle.

I can’t even think of any werewolves aside from the really obvious ones: The Wolf Man, Teen Wolf, Jacob from Twilight, Jack Russell (When the MCU eventually airs Werewolf by Night)

I was more talking about using the classical myths and sources for the two of them. Since those sources are what most people think of, and yeah as mentioned there's not a lot to go off if we go by specific werewolves in fiction for example.

What classical myths would they use? :hm

iirc the myths of werewolves started off as medieval European hearsay rumors on attacks by people suffering from rabies, congenital porphyria, ingested hallucinogenic plants, and straight up crazy people.

You know now that we've had Sabrewulf vs Talbain and Dio vs Alucard, and with the floodgates to mythological characters now being open I honestly wouldn't mind seeing them do a Vampire vs Werewolf episode drawing upon mythological sources for both. Sure we all know the vamp would win but it'd still be interesting to see their take on the age old question :hm
Didn't Deadliest Warrior do this?

It was Vampires vs Zombies and it was specifically three vamps from 30 Days of Night comics vs a hundred Zombies from the World War Z book franchise.
Also a series trying it out first shouldn’t disqualify DB from doing it.

All else fails, they could just use the Garou from Old World of Darkness.

chris? :mjpls

I mean the public consciousness has an idea of the general powers that vampires and werewolves have. They could just use that along with some of the classic sources like Dracula and the Wolf Man to go with the 'generic' matchup. Which would be the idea, it's to run with the general ideas of both and do a MU between the two

Maybe you can get away with not allowing the Thought Robot (Who is the weaponized plotpoint of Superman), but Strange Visitor Superman shattered the Fifth Dimension and went to the plane of existence beyond it. He is a Godsphere, potentially Limbo tier character (Depending on how you interpret the Fifth Dimension).

There is also Milkman Man who sees DC as fiction and fucks with it.

Otherwise, tbh, yeah, DBH Goku beats most versions of Superman, but not all. Strange Visitor and Milkman Man are simply on another level.
