Death Battle Discussion

The absolute highest possible interpretation? Omniversal+ (or above endless recursive layers each infinitely greater than the last), with back up from Gurren Lagann being part of the Triggerverse with cameos from characters in KLK and PSG (with a Dark Tower-esque recursion seen in KLK). There's also apparently some more stuff in Gridman Universe, but I've yet to see that and I'm trying to avoid spoilers for it so ask me again in a few months.

There's also the final Otoko (CD drama), in which the Simon of the Otoko world draws the story of Gurren Lagann as a manga, but his Spiral Power links the two universes, causing Avant (prologue) Simon to appear and absorb Otoko Simon. In the manga version of Otoko (which admittedly only adapts the first 3 Otokos, and not the 4th and final Otoko with the meta stuff), the Otoko timeline is one of the timelines prime timeline Simon absorbs. This one's weirder, but it relies less on crossovers.

Based on evidence I can 100% confirm though, at least megaversal (in the classic OBD sense of the term, in that there are several named multiverses and others which Simon can effect).

Would Kyle Rayner be able to "Time huh? Thanks for the tip" Simon?

Death Battle plays it fast and loose with DC cosmology. Here is a rough scaling chain for White Lantern going by how Death Battle thinks (AKA not reality)

White Lantern Kyle > Nekron > Spectre > Lords of Order who are godsphere tier >conceptually above> Infinite bleed space > 11-D Orrery of Worlds (52 MWI universes, each 100 trillion light years)

In reality, White Lantern Kyle was dealing with an emanation of Nekron, not the real conceptual form, ditto for Nekron harming Spectre and for the Lords of Order, but I digress. How would Simon stack up to this?

Ya better off asking @Sigismund on how WL Kyle really stacks up

Nah, Black Lantern Hal was able to conjuer and control the full Nekron to kill Volthoom, White Lantern Kyle scales well above Black Lantern Hal.
Spectre is a peer to Parrallax, Nekron harming him makes sense

If there's gonna be this many lopsided MUs (or at least without current DB wank) then IMO there needs to be more weird-ass MUs that also make perfect sense. Gimme a Universal Monsters Battle Royale, I want to see how a fight between THESE guys would go down

Nah but if Dimitri is anywhere near Ike's level (haven't cared about FE since Radiant Dawn) then the only way Guts has a chance is if they scale him directly to the Godhand + are very generous to Godhand feats

I can't see this as being anything other than an L for my boy Guts

The real major reasonings were:

-Both scales to destroying their entire cosmologies so power and speed was equal
Beyonder seeing himself as fodder to the Phoenix in The White Hot Room puts her far more casually on that scale. With the omniverse level characters Raven scales to, most of them are a bit of a reach, and even being lenient she clearly isn't vastly above any of them unlike Jean w/The Beyonder.
-Several of their haxxes and abilities cancelled one another out (telepathy, time manip, energy absorption, etc)

Except Jean has way greater showings as far as time and mind manipulation go.
-Raven can regenerate from her soul’s complete destruction (mid godly regen) and this could come back from essentially anything Jean could do to her.

Existence erasure >>>>> soul erasure.

Surviving the latter won't be enough against the former. With the former you will not only no longer exist, it will be as if you never existed to begin with.
Other Phoenix hosts (which Jean scales to as the best of them all) can withstand Ghost Rider's hellfire .

Now, I get you're just listing out their reasonings and you may not agree with them yourself. I just wanted to show how easy their arguments are to tear apart

Basically, they pulled another Obito vs Vader, in a sense.

Only difference is, I much prefer Raven, so I'm all good with her winning, even though she shouldn't.
