So after finishing Akira last night, I finally watched the fight animation and post-analysis Death Battle's Magneto vs Tetsuo episode:
I actually rooted for Tetsuo and wanted the dude to win, but Magneto winning kinda made a little more sense. I don't know whether the episode was correct or not by this board's standards and perspective, feel free to enlighten me.
Oh well, it was a nice episode and the ending of that fight animation was kinda poetic and touching betraying the sadder sides of both characters.

Can anyone tell me what this board's consensus on that MU was? Did Tetsuo have any actual wincons against Magneto or was Magneto's supposed universal level feats and showings a bit wanked and overstated?

Magneto isn't universe level but he completely washes Tetsuo regardless.

Just better feats really
And being better at using his hax intelligently (like ripping the Adamantium out of Wolverine). Tetsuo’s just a power tripping kid, while Magneto uses the power of magnetism to its max potential.

IIRC Magneto was around Large Planet to possibly Solar System level plus FTL speed, and Tetsuo was continent level with relativistic speed
