Because normies think Alucard is invincible essentially, so if death battle doesn't do a thorough job of debunking that for Dio's victory, a lot of them are gonna call bullshit. Might end up worse than the Ben 10 vs Hal shitstorm we got a while back.Why?

Alucard is like Alien X/Goku/Saitama/Any character that gets wanked up the ass on a lower scale
Hyped for being nigh unkillable while Dio depsite his Time stop don't have anyways to put him down for Good in the views of casuals and Alucard fanboys

Vs wiki now has Dante at immeasurable speed based off of the Pinnacle of Combat mobile game, on top of him being uni+ to low multi. The shit with him never ends, lol. Makes me glad Helsing's over, because if the wank about him is this bad now, I can't imagine what it would be like if we had several arcs of Schrodinger Alucard and him being given some blatantly hyperbolic statements that most dumbasses would actually take seriously.

Also weird the majority of research on MM was Wrasslor feats whose not even MM but an MM parody character played by MM. Not to mention they actually scaled him to old Chuck Norris memes which can range to Solar System-Universe level w/abstract hax n shit. So KM breaking the sun like glass is pretty much child's play.And Macho Man lost. Fuck sake, they literally ignored all of his scaling for shit Hulk Hogan could do, the Ultimate Warrior could do, and gave Kool-Aid Man an AP advantage he damn sure shouldn't have had.

That moment when you realize that Death Battle was on a good streak of right decisions, and then they come with this dumpster-fire of an episode to remind us all just how bad their logic and writing can be. Its especially bad when you recognize this was sort of ten years in the making, and they had plenty of time to work on this, whereas Reverse Flash vs Goku Black, a far superior episode that hit all the right notes, was dead ass thrown together in a single day by Liam.
Liam ain't perfect by any stretch, but he's damn sure a better writer than Ben and whoever helped write Macho Man vs Kool-Aid Man was, because this episode was damn near below season 1 Death Battle level's of dreadful. OrlandoSky

I think it was Ultraguy and someone else who were credited with doing the research. The same person that botched Hiei vs Sasuke and Kiryu vs Dragonzord. I know it would be impossible, but who knows for multi-media characters, but how would they handle characters from the cthulhu mythos? Just use the original books + RPG + the most famous videogames that try to emulate the theme of Lovecraftian horror (So Call of Cthulhu Videogame, not Cthulhu saves the world)?
if it has footgage and shit that makes it easier to rundown as well as comics

Lovecraft stuff is open domain and his pure canon would be the origianl circle, but being public domain I think they could use more. For example, for Cthulhu (Because realistically they would either use Cthulhu or Nyarlathotep), it appears in dozens of videogames and a handful of movies and maybe even some comics to draw from alongside the books.

Nyarlathotep would work better against Shuma powerwise, but Nya gets less love in the media than Cthulhu (Which is weird given Lovecraft used Nyarlathotep way more, Lovecraft's last story being one of Nyarlathotep's most infamous roles, and Nyarlathotep is more powerful and relevant than Cthulhu) so we'd have to be... liberal... In what to use

It depends. The Youtube algorithm is weird it varies and changes all the time. Most big channels upload their big videos on the weekend since that's when the highest views will come in or it could just be a situation where Goku Black isn't as popular or pull in as much interest as Broly or Beerus.
