Death Battle Discussion

I haven't seen Boku no Hero, but if Shigaraki is faster and has enough power to completely disintegrate Mahito's body, he wouldn't need to affect souls to win.

It's only stated because like usual when it comes to Jujutsu Kaisen fans, they think Mahito can infinitely regenerate himself as long as he still has his soul... which is explicitly against how his regen works and how despite being able to regenerate, he actually doesn't truly heal himself(Which is how Yuji won the fight at the end).
This is even more puzzling considering Mahito is still within the Crossroads and will forever remain there because he refuses to come to gripes that Yuji defeated him and if he COULD do that, why doesn't he?

DB has AFO tier characters at Relitivistic+ speed

JJK top tiers (Gojo) they have at MHS (Mach 170) they'll probably scale it to Mahito anyway because he dodged a punch from Gojo.

Still Shigi is several hundred times faster than him by their standards.

Was in the green room of a con with Lanipator from TeamFourStar, he personally requested and really wants Piccolo (as in Piccolo jr) to fight Sukuna. He doesn't want him to fight King Piccolo because it "would be way too much of a stomp for him (Sukuna)"

Lanipator is on that delusionade premium to think Sukuna stands a ghost of a chance against Piccolo Daimao, never mind our boi Piccolo. Saying it'd be a stomp in Sukuna's favour is just comedy.:mjlol

nigga wut :patricksinister:
piccolo from the 23rd tournament take a shit on Fraudkuna
King Piccolo enough to merks that lil shit himself

Besides King Piccolo being a stomp for anyone in JJK really drawing a blank here on what the similarities are between Sukuna and any incarnation of Piccolo

Evil tyrants that are mass murderers/genociders, I'm guessing, who are viewed as Demon Kings/Gods in their setting. Or in Piccolo Daimao's case, was viewed that way in the past.

One idea I had for how the Spawn vs Ghost Rider fight could go is when Spawn says "I eat sin for breakfast, have a taste of your own goddamn medicine" and begins his penance stare on Johhny. The fight becomes a penance staredown where a montage of the sins of both characters appear, until Ghost Rider is the first to succumb to the weight of his sins.

Shit as broad as that is all that was needed for several fights in the past. Heck, some have had less.:tupac
True.

Even last season, Cole MacGrath and Alex Mercer only fought because of the significant fandom rivalry between their games and demand for this DB. Actual similarities between the two were almost non-existent

Misaka and Killua also didn’t have much in common besides being teenage prodigies with powers centered around electricity

That was also the entire basis for the Dark Souls vs Skyrim episode, except it was slightly less pronounced because it was a pretty one sided rivalry at that :mhm

To my understanding the similarities are:
They are both ancient warriors who held the world under their thumb in an older time period, who hold themselves in a demonic sovereign title (King of Curses for Sukuna, Demon King for Piccolo Daimao) until they were rejuvenated from being sealed away in modern times but weakened and incomplete (Piccolo needing to regain his prime youth and Sukuna needing his 20 fingers) and held the biggest threat to the world (at least pre-Z for Piccolo, he was the biggest threat on Earth until saiyans arrived from space), that went on a spree to take down the only potential threats they had (Piccolo sending Tamborine to kill every potential ki wielding martial artist and Sukuna going through a jujutsu sorcerer gauntlet during the entire last act of JJK) they also have ties to mysticism (Namekian Magic for Piccolo Damao and Cursed Energy/Sorcerery for Sukuna)

Same with Carnage vs Lucy in S5

In the Cast episode Sam (the writer for the ep) straight up said there was no thought put into that match-up. They wanted to do a Carnage fight that season but didn’t like any of his requests (Darth Maul and Alex Mercer) someone on the cast started watching and getting into Elfen Lied at the time and suggested Lucy and everyone else was just like “sure, whatever”

Thanks! Now I got it clear. To be honest, I found it weird at the beginning with the Gospel Bug Beast stuff. When it was mentioned that it was fusing real and Cyberworld in the games. (BTW, I hate the anime for removing that ability from Gospel, but at least they gave Mega an impressive feat).

BTW, why were MMBN and Starforce profiles removed from OBD?
I found this. Is from Megaman Battle Network 5. English and Japanese version. The Mr. Prog says universe in English and "Sekai" in Japanese.
