So apparently a reboot anime for Bastard!! is in the works. If it can get off and the manga somehow continues, potentially Dark Schneider can get the upgrades he needs to be relevant again.
I still think Shazam or Black Adam is a good matchup for him, but I see people ask for Darsh vs GEoM.... What is the similarity? Why?

Matchups I can think up of for Dark Schneider:
-God Emperor of Mankind: IDK why people suggest this I might need elaboration
-Captain Marvel: Both are powerful wizards who initially take the form of a kid before they transform, and both are very immature as a result.
-Black Adam: Shazam minus the kid thing, but instead the whole dark powerful magician thing
-Vampire Hunter D: Obscenely powerful spawns of the dark lord (Satan/The Sacred Ancestor) who roam a post-apocalyptic fantasy world. The contrast between cold and stoic Vampire Hunter D and hotheaded and degenerate Dark Schneider could work. However these connections are still kinda tenuous and D has Alucard from Castlevania to humiliate
-Pegasus Seiya: Both are the main characters of SJ manga who were extremely powerful. Extreme legacy matchup that's not been relevant for almost 10 years and there is no real similarities otherwise. It would be like Naruto vs Ichigo but 100x less viable.
