Death Battle Discussion

fun fact the piece of info this graphic comes from straight up says in it that “many of these origins are completely irreconcilable” like even official tf lore acknowledges this shit makes no sense :kobeha

Oh god, Resetera is still online? I thought that forums finally died after they turned on their Owner for being a piece of shit

@OtherGalaxy Is G1 JP a separate but equal canon to G1 En or is G1 En a subordinate bastardization or what? what are megs' feats in JP G1?
https://onelastforum.com/threads/star-convoy-vs-daruman-the-mad-king.3917/#post-259881
compiled the feats/scaling for Star Convoy/JG1 Megatron here. There's other stuff I could include but this is the jist of it

as far as canon goes, think of TF canon sort of like DC's hypertime I guess? Everything is canon, sometimes even things that were never published, or are straight up non-canon because they weren't officially published. It's weird. There are "main" timelines like the original cartoon, the bay movies, unicron trilogy etc. but everything whether it's a toy bio or a crossover or a one-off weird comic cover is just considered to have happened somewhere in the multiverse. In Japan G1's case, Japan has a lot of fiction specifically building off of their G1 cartoon timeline, that has nothing to do with any of the American ones, although due to the multiversal nature of later stories iirc there is sometimes some overlap.

their speed feat here is weird, they're using two different versions of the Matrix and trying to do some weird application of Starscream reacting to one and giving it the speed of the other? They admit it's tenuous, but the whole reasoning behind it is also goofy. Better to just scale cosmic characters to either of the two MFTL processing feats we have (one Maddie calced here (lost his original link but i reposted it on fv https://www.fanverse.org/threads/do...aracters-in-2023.1284536/page-2#post-65606078 )

and the other one done recently on SB
this guy lowballed the hell out of it and it's still stupid fast

Is Mega 14x universal or 14x multiversal? There is a difference
not sure what you mean/not familiar with how DB does these things

the Precursor World is 7 separate infinite universes, each governed by a Star Power. Those 7 powers combine into a Silver Matrix. Golden Megatron juked time to get two Silver Matrices ergo multiversal, but more similar to Zeno where it’s a finite amount of them

the only characters in TF who scale to multiple multiverses themselves and all that, are the 13 and the gods that I’m aware of

At least for me, you can destroy a universe 1726426373x over and that's still < destroying two universes. I envision universes as a mathematic set, no matter what multiplier you add that's still just a scalar multiplier to a set. So if Megs destroyed 14 universes, that >infinity> Freeza being millions of times times above 2.10 universes level, at least in my system. IDK if DB goes by that

how does Megs access golden form?

I can tell you right now, that they do not. They make zero distinction between X amount universal and how many universes can be busted.

I'm with you on that I just wanted to clarify the feat. I think destroying two separate universes/spacetimes etc is more impressive.

Have to reread the manga but he jacks Golden Power by draining Starscream's energy, don't fully recall how he ended up getting his Super/Ultra forms though.

Can he become golden or super or ultra by just powering up/his own initiative?
