Saitama Advantages
  • Is debatably faster in travel and combat speed
  • Can match Popeye depending on where you place Popeye
  • Is balder
Saitama Disadvantages
  • Lacking in non-physical attacks
  • Less experienced
  • Has no counter to Popeye’s Toon Force

Popeye Advantages
  • Much more solid evidence of being more powerful
  • Can attack non-physically
  • Far more experienced
  • Toon Force is just too broken
  • Can regenerate from any damage Saitama can deal
  • Spinach increases his strength advantage and could potentially help close the gap in speed

Yeah even the "debatably faster speed" is a gigantic stretch since Popeye has more FTL-MFTL feats than Saitama has Sub-Relitivistic-Relitivistic ones. The only conceivable way Saitama were to win this is if DB goes out of their way to be as intentionally biased as possible.

Even if he were to have faster travel speed that aint about to help him win here.

Cracking the Sun>Any feat of OPM
not to mention the best you can argue for Saitama in terms of speed is being just baseline FTL
Popeye can just get in the same realm or higher so not even that you can give Caped Baldy
It just Popeye W no matter what

I believe their reasoning is that if they ignore all of Popeye's higher end feats (mostly the Sun shit) as just outliers/toon zaniness not meant to be taken at literal face value he would only be Large Planet level and Saitama at the highest point of believability would be Planet level (If they take the Boros feat at complete face value as planet busting attack and not just life-wiping) therefore its close because Popeye is Large planet level and Saitama is normal planet level.....

even though that's still a x9,156 level strength difference between them. Just because Large Planet level is right after normal Planet level doesn't make them in the same ball park. the bottom benchmark for being large planet level is being able to destroy Uranus (a planet that's 64 times bigger than Earth and is 14 times heavier) at the very very very veeeery least that's still x34 higher than normal planet level.

Still they actually said Saitama is one of the most powerful combatants in DB history :skully He's not even among the strongest this season c'mon Liam.

>Scarlet Witch vs Zatanna or Raven or Enchantress
>Deathstroke vs Taskmaster or Deadpool (round 2)
>Tanjiro vs Jonathan Joestar or Edward Elric or Inuyasha
>Tetsuo vs Magneto or Lucy or Shinji Ikari
