Death Battle Discussion

So I'm trying to actually legitmately see where Composite Ryu stands. His actual best scaling isn't from Archie because his scaling there comes from Post-Genesis Wave scaling to Mavericks who scales to Megaman X who scales to Classic Archie Mega Man who scales above to Archie Sonic, not Super Sonic. Apparently that's only multi-continental when it happened (Worlds Unite)

It also doesn't come from Marvel vs Capcom, that's explicitly a different universe from 616 and should only scale to its own feats. At the very best, the MvC cosmology is apparently 110x multiversal. Realistically he is only High 5-A from MvC.

It comes from Project X Zone, where he scales to Byuka Shin who could merge the whole multiverse. And here's the catch; Project X Zone's/Namco X Capcom's world is confirmed to be part of Super Robot Wars's cosmology, which is described as having infinite parallel universes and this is also proven by the existence of The Spiral Labyrinth, which has infinite universes). So Ryu scales to the SRW version of the TTGL Multiversal Labyrinth

So I guess I should ask, @Stocking Anarchy, does SRW TTGL and labyrinth scale to the anime or not?

Actually he has Xeno-Blade scaling, fack

He is a cameo character in Xeno-Blade 2 alongside Kos-Mos, though apparently even for XB2 it is completely noncanon and literal fanfiction:

based on where

is there a link to that

Ryu is one of the possible characters in this who can fight this:

I have to further deepdive, I have to clean the kitchen tonight however

It appears, from what I see:

Full Composite (Jump Force included) Goku can beat 100% composite Ryu, even if you take Marvel scaling of Infinity Stones at the highest interpretation of Low 1-A
CC Goku can beat every version of Ryu outside of this one XBC2 Cameo
DBS Goku can beat any version of Ryu outside of the PXZ and XBC2 appearances, Archie and MvC and Power Rangers included

Good thing they are using games.

Last time I heard anything impressive about Bowser was he stomped out a sun in galaxy? I believe someone in the OBD told me this years ago, or maybe tanked a black hole I do not remember.

Eggman I do not know, but I'm sure he had a robot or something that hurt super sonic/shadow at one point.

He is on a star as it goes Supernova and forms into a black hole, and then Bowser is alive at the end mostly just disoriented. We can assume this is at least the low-end of what Bowser will be working with in the Death Battle since they granted him this feat in the Ganondorf battle.

Depending on just how deep they want to dig into the spin-offs and what they accept from them; Mario Party 6 has a mini-game where they players have to swim through space to escape a Black Hole and whoever gets sucked in first loses. Bowser isn't playable but he would naturally be above the likes of Koopa Kid and others who are.

On a second glance, I legit can't find any proof Ryu is in Xenoblade 2, I don't know where that idea came from when I read it on the Reddit thread. I think they used SSBU scaling, which I think is a bridge too far.

Given it's SRW, it's probably best to go with the games itself (otherwise you end up with some whacky stuff like multiversal Gundam), so IMO it's best to go off what the games have (though the SRW games usually repeat a lot of what was in the main story, so chances are it would still have a bunch of the same things). Qing and Doronbo should know more on SRW.

I always saw Mario Galaxy ending as Rosalina protecting Mario and the universe/galaxy getting remade

rolfe did make a spoof death battle once. kinda
but more in the style of deadliest warrior
That was Spoony and it was based on Deadliest Warrior like you said, definitely not based on Death Battle. During the time of its release DB averaged views didn’t go much higher than 10k and TGWTG critics were internet relevant back then so they got 100k to a million in views easy, it would have been a niche reference at the time he made it.

I finalized my results for the Sun Disc Calculation:

TL;DR

  • Instead of violent fragmentation or pulverization energy values for silicon, I found the energy density needed to heat silicon up 1200 degrees celsius and make it glow the orange-yellow pieces of the destroyed panel were glowing at, I got an energy density of 2,432.59 joules per cubic centimeter
  • I used the most reasonable end, the highest reasonable end is actually a Chthonic Planet which means it basically is just a gas giant without the gas because a star tore the atmosphere off, it's too large and desolate to ever be a real planet. The ludicrous end assumes the planet is literally a giant hyperdense diamond
  • Kinetic energy would lead to internal pressures millions of times above atomization energy, which contradicts the visuals of the panel. Without video media showing such velocities, it is too much of a stretch to accept kinetic energy, so the heat up destruction energy I got is what I prefer

Because of this, I think it is best to use the 2,432.59 joules per cubic centimeter value, making my final result 3.84(10)^30 joules or 918.73 exatons of tnt (Small planet level)
