there is a big bang thing mentioned but it's been so long I forget if it's Akira or Tetsuo who does it and whether it was manga or movie

I know that's why I prefaced with it being from vsbw and follow it up with 'I don't know how true that is" since they generally get a lot of things wrong and they didn't cite this feat afaik
I went looking and I found something about a mini big bang in the manga
but it seems like the full on big bang thing is coming from the final scene in the movie
