I have to say, Ekko turning on Ultra was not something I anticipated. Think I'm going to do the coward route though and say it's not optinal to gamble on lynching Ultra today. And if Poyser is no longer as strongly reading Sparkles town then I don't actually have any issue with giving Ultra his lynch. Of course I'd rather lynch Fang, it really should be a slam dunk but, here we are.

My main problem with Ultra, at this point, is that I think he's been entirely too accommodating around his pushers. Ekko flips on him and his reaction is almost just consigned, and I don't really know why he'd just take it like that as town. It's meek. I also think some of his meta defence of Ekko isn't quite right - he's suggested that Ekko treats him and I the same, in order to explain away the nonsense Ekko was peddling earlier, but that's not really true at all. Ekko has far more reverence for Ultra, and virtually not a scrap of respect for me, he's had no issue playing to that in the past too. With Ekko, I think the ratio of dreck to salient points has been bad enough that it should warrant Ultra at least considering another worldview, and he hasn't done that. Don't think it makes sense for them to be scum together though.

This is a very elaborate way to say a whole lot of nothing

Ekko doing clown shit like this is very easy to wrap my head around as town. As scum I think from a couple angles it doesn't really serve him any strategic purpose. I'm literally the only person defending him and everyone else thinks he's obnoxious and should die. I'm flipping town. I don't think he has some miscalculates the outcome of that equation

It's not just Ekko, is the problem. Usually you'd have no issue beating back your interlocutors. I get what you're saying, but at some point the threshold to shit and not shit has to come into the equation, no? So I don't see why you go to bat for Ekko under a copious amount of shit, and still don't think that maybe some of us have caught onto something there. You're not the only person town reading him by the way, Guillo has said he's his strongest town read.

This post feels pretty disingenuous.

I've spent a great deal of time pushing back on Poyser and Flower, your expectation is I'm not doing enough, but should be quite obvious that they can both be reconciled as town more easily than a lot of players here. In concrete terms what am I not doing?

I just outlined it. Let's keep on Ekko for the moment. You're telling me that you don't see ajy plausible scum motivation behind his progression on you, at all? What about Fuji? I'm not saying you've done nothing, but most of what you've done has been more timid from you than I expect from you as town. And I'm using the word timid as a fill in for, it's "off". There are aspects here of your play that aren't hitting the same notes as your town game, and you haven't given an explanation as to why that is.

What are you not doing? I'd expect you to be pounding the table for your lynch right now, for example - when have you ever had trouble getting your pushes through? Instead, you're acting like you're about to be lynched, it's nonsense.
 
The only people you’re strong town on is Ekko and fang? I can’t remember your thoughts about fang but I don’t really remember you defending anybody else
