So thanks for the game everyone! First time i had no one review my setup and I see there was room for improvement, however it seems most people enjoyed it which is most important for me.

Town had a rough start with day 1 mislynch and two powerful town roles dieing night 1 (may be also caused by too many people claiming night 1 allowing mafia to blind janitor the watcher). Serial was also very lucky to recruit the survivor night 1 which could never happen. But the indies were quickly disposed of and with remaining power roles not amounting to anything substantial, it became an almost vanilla game where town had to have superior threadplay. The key moments i think were Ratchet lynch and Arne catching RDK at endgame.

MVP goes to @Arne Slot for saving the endgame for town and the game state was challenging for sure then.

HM to @Ultra for putting a lot of effort into solving and leading Ratchet lynch and to @Ratchet for his efforts in both scum chat and the thread. His plans for distancing and setting the gameboard were great and scum almost won since RDK was set up so well.

If I could give one more HM i would give to @Poyser who also had very good threadplay. I believe his night 1 shot was suboptimal though.

Think Poyser is hard done by here, but so it goes. Thanks for the game Melkor!

Just out of curiosity, why are you weighing a N1 misfire as worse than leading 2 town mislynches?

Thanks Melkor. I do think you are definitely not giving town enough credit for winning this one, though. Odds were pretty stacked against us. 6 anti town, a double voter in mafia, hider kills themselves...2 mislynches into lylo is tough stuff and we still got the job done!

Offing Duelist is probably equivalent to a set back of 1 lynch
Just wondered what his thinking was behind it. A night kill is usually less costly for town than a mislynch and you led 2. Also I was damned if I do and damned if I don’t anyway, since my other option (fang) was bus driven anyway, so I was guaranteed to hit a townie no matter what lol

Like I said in dead chat I’m not gonna argue too much because all 4 of us played well and it was a tough decision etc but I had a better game than you on this one (in my opinion)

I think you got robbed and Mafia don't really need an HM in a game where they had everything and still lost. No offense to anyone

Good point maybe. But I do not think Ultra was the only one scum reading Sparkles and Ichigo.
No, but he led their lynch. I’ll grant you can’t really hold the D1 lynch against him much as he pretty much had to push it through as he was a possible counterwagon, although it’s important to remember that it was his read on sparkles and refusal to give it up that got him into that position in the first place

The leading of the ichigo lynch was worse, because everybody else in the game pretty much wanted to lynch Aurelian first and he pulled rank as he was confirmed by 2 different lots of info lol. The only person backing him up on that lynch from memory was RDK (scum)

Your reasoning in the PM was that proper move would be to target Fang, but this would be boring and you are really tired of Ekko. At least as i understod it.

Also I’m just trying to figure out what it is that Melkor weighs as good v bad etc, I remember him giving a very odd award (at first glance, I didn’t play the game) in his last game too so not sure what it is he uses to weigh the play

Kinda feels like the ratchet lynch is the only thing he’s considering

Yes that’s right, but if i shot fang then guillo dies anyway lol so bit of a weird one to hold against me

Also you’re probably right that ratchet is the one that realistically should have missed out there, but I understand him wanting to reward the effort and as someone that puts a lot of effort into helping teammates at the expense of myself also and is often overlooked for it, I’m not really wanting to argue against it lmao
