Mighty Mint and mothballs are horrible lol. My neighbors used to use mothballs quite frequently, even though they were the ones who brought the roaches when they moved in. Unfortunately, there's no completely getting rid of roaches in your household; the best you can do is keep fending them off and adapt by targeting the places they tend to breed the most (dark and damp spots, water-accessible locations, warm areas when it gets cold, etc.)

Yep.

This is why since the end of 2021, after my mum finally learned where the roaches finally came from all this time.

We literally had to try and deny every single possible entry point into our household for the roaches by sealing all the holes from the heaters with patches of steel wire mesh + duct tape in the kitchen, the living room, my bedoom, my parent's bedroom, and our study room in order to cut them off from entering while still maintaining enough minuscule holes for all the heat to be transmitted into our rooms during the winter seasons.

And even since then, there had still been multiple occasions when the steel wire mesh in at least one of our rooms still had some loose ends and gaps wide enough for the roaches to still bypass them and I was forced to re-tape them everytime. @Ral

But at least I am still proud to say that we managed to go through all of 2022 without a single big roach incident beyond the confines of our dirty kitchen which has definitely showed its age over the years. @Ral
