Not gonna lie, seeing Oscar get all flustered 'cause his attempts to win Yog over weren't going his way was funny. Dude should know better than to rely on any spell with a random element to it, it will inevitably give you a shit option every time.
There's definitely more to Oscar and his relationship with Yog than we saw in R'lyeh. As much as he tries to play on Yog's loneliness in his recruitment effort, his desperation makes it seem more like HE was the lonely one. Back in R'lyeh he didn't even seem to be upset about Yog turning on him and trying to kill him. If anything, Chloe's familiarity with him infuriated him way more. They were genuine friends at least at one time (that much is clear) so I wonder what happened to change Oscar into what he is now?
Interesting insight into Oscar's character honestly. Can't wait to learn more of his and Yog's story (perhaps a set of flashback chapters at some point?) but let's get back to the big fight next time Ikeda, come on.
