Also most comics span for multiple issue, with multiple different stories appearing in single comics. Unless you buy the book version.
Not really? This would be 100% true if we we're talking about 2000AD, but most comics tend to be confined to a select few characters who all share the same storyline. Unless you're reading avengers or big event tie-ins. Which their are quite a few of just by virtue of how long comics have been running.

Otherwise, It's not too different from anyone who's transitioning from reading manga to reading comics, the only issue would be familiarizing yourself with the universe.
Also Like some comic issue needs you to read crossover shit to even get a full story.
For sure, you can see this in Spectacular Spiderman and TAS where instead of just confining a story to one or the other, they split it up between both, mainly for monetary purposes. But most of the time they always tell you which volume the follow-up will appear in, so tracking it down really Isn't an issue, just a pain in the ass.
While most other shit is literally in just a single book. So it gets confusing for common folks specially for those that only reads single titles.
For a person who has literally never read a manga with more than like 2 significant characters, Maybe?

The biggest issue with trying to jump into comics is just getting up to date with the history of everything and everyone, Imo.
