Also this is yet another reason I hate TLJ so much; it's themes are so incincere. One of the evilest corporations on the planet having themes of capitalism is bad...which they do by having someone all but say "did you know that capitalism is bad?" and having a bunch of caricatures. Then Disney abuse their workers, turning a blind eye to sexual harassment, refuse to give royalties, continue to make money off Stan Lee and you know, endorse literal genocide, and more. Disney are just saying this shit so that people who spend too much time on Twitter and Tumblr will like them and consoom their content.
And it somehow works every single time.
The "Capitalism is Bad" bullshit I see nowandays from retards who don't even know what the concept is and go dick suck Socialism truly pisses me off like no other.
Capitalism, the big bad that everyone and their mother these days love to besmirch... is the reason why most of these fuckers are even SUCCESSFUL AT ALL. Socialism literally doesn't allow you to ever profit from anything you do and removes any and every incentive to even try outside of extremely rare forms of it. People act like that you can't ever be successful in Capitalism never even bothered to see how easily and quickly people can be successful with simple application of supply and demand.
It's one of the main reasons why I usually unsub or turn off videos of anyone usually going with that "Capitalism is Bad" nonsense because yeah, the shit ain't perfect but if you actually want to do something/make something and want to actually profit from it? Then yes, Capitalism is there for that very purpose and reason.

Yeah, I was dreading this shit from the get-go since it is still Disney in charge and everything I heard, from the woke writers hired to the "changes for new canon" info made me nothing but cynical towards it. I hope this does not go through because it will most likely stink of Nu-Wars garbage and ruin yet another classic from the good years of the SW EU that is like the last bit of untouched greatness that will be milked by the Rat like all things it has gotten its filthy hands on.

Meanwhile these people who praise TLJ for the THEMES always forget that other movies have already done these themes and the same crowd doesn't have any issue with them. Everyone loves Alien and Aliens which had an evil corporation as the main villain because that was interwoven into the story and not just told to the audience like they're a bunch of idiots. Even in regards to SW, the Prequels at least tried to be more political and morally grey (though you can argue if they actually succeeded with that or not, I'd give Lucas points for trying).
As for socialism, I don't want to really get political in this anime nerd forum, but I've seen lots of socialists with yikes takes so I'll just leave it there. :nuishock:
