Just going to point out that your sig is actually what the bible been saying/preaching if you look deeper.
No need for idol's or statue, you don't need to show god to anyone as long as you live by his words. The preaching is to provide way not to gather more follower that can't even live by it.
you don't need to be a devotee you need to actually have the virtue to live with what the bible preach.
It doesn't matter if you are representing the faith but doesn't have the virtue to live it. God will choose someone that doesn't show it but lived it over a priest who shows it but doesn't live with it every time.
It's also one of the most known story used by them but failed to actually understand it.
