I think it's because of the business scheme of the anime industry in Japan, products that have a lot of fanbase beforehand or that are sure to sell, don't make an effort to give a lot of animation except perhaps in specific moments or movies, for that Dragon Ball, despite selling so much, brings out something outstanding in animation.It having good animation isn't surprising since a lot of these types of anime have ridiculously good animation for no reason.

I'm much closer to 3 than 2. Could do better but pretty good all things considered.

It depends. A lot of the time it's just the studio having talented animators AND flexing it's budget. Now new series that are only going to sell one season and it's all or nothing (like most of Slice of Life or moe that are only successful for one season and that's it) take out the animation ceiling to attract attention.

Nah, unless you're trying to become a power lifter or an ugly ass body builder weights you use at home are fine assuming you even use emIf you're just starting, home is fine.
But eventually you're going to need to hit the gym for heavier equipment, unless you have a home gym. My goal is to get to something closer to 4, where it's very obvious you're in shape without taking your shirt off.
