The ringleaders of these brutalities were venerated at the Yasukuni Shrine (Tokyo), honoured by Shinzo Abe every year. I don't know if the current Prime minister does this too.

Years after WWII, he went to Japan to meet the Japanese officer Watanabe that personally tortured him just to forgive and make peace with him.

Watanabe was too chicken shit to ever confront him

And what a contrast. Zamperini died a hero respected and acknowledged in both America AND Japan with movies made of him to this day while Watanabe died a coward and disgraced, alone and forgotten, only remembered for his war crimes

To be fair, I did say that I'm not an expert on both franchises.

Has the Star Wars cosmology somehow gotten a lot bigger since the last time I checked? I'd like to be proven otherwise.

But either way, it's not just about what the OBD thinks, but what other people all across other boards have said in regards to ST's power levels. So don't just take my word for it, take theirs and take them with a grain of salt if you may.

All I know is that Star Trek's top-tier entities, cosmology, and hax frankly seems a lot more bigger and a lot more busted than most people on this board by and large thinks just from the little I've seen and heard of the series.

Of course that's not to sugarcoat the fucked up shit the Allies did as well. There is no war where atrocities aren't commited on both sides but in terms of scale, only Stallin in Russia could compare to the Nazis and Imperial Japs.

Primarily Europeans of Ashkenazi Jewish descent as well as Gypsies/Roma and a lot of Slavs during their invasion of Poland and Russia.

But yeah I agree with the last part.
 
The only powers in history that can meaningfully compare or compete with Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan in the scale of brutal war-time atrocities, government oppression, and the number of people killed per capita are Soviet Russia and Communist China (especially under Mao Zedong)

Yeah those were some pretty fucked up times mates.

There's a reason many mangaka and anime artists at the time just shortly after WWII including Osamu Tezuka, Hiroshi Fujimoto, Motoo Abiko, Leiji Matsumoto, Hayao Miyazaki, Isao Takahata, and Fujio Akatsuka were all anti-war, anti-fascist, and anti-imperialist in their views, translating them into their series and works rather prominently.
 


Ofc whenever Shadow’s involved the quality of the game improves exponentially. Another reason why I wasn’t a fan of Frontiers was the lack of him.

You think Korea, Manchuria, and Nanking/the rest of Mainland China is bad, you should look at what the Taiwanese aboriginals in Taiwan got.

Warriors of the Rainbow: Seediq Bale is a pretty kino film and the peak of Taiwanese cinema btw.

Kubo designed 2 Females in the Original Gotei 13 and they have no character past being murder machines atm and they still got far more love than anyone in JJK :jordangif
