Honestly as much as I'd like a DMC game (or two, or maybe even three) with Nero I think DMC ending off with V wouldn't be a terrible ideaDMC V was back in 2019. Entirely possible Itsuno worked on the next installment long enough for DMC VI to turn out good.
Anything beyond that? Take with an enormous grain of salt.
