Man, if this World Series were a UFC fight, the ref would have stopped it in game two. What a pathetic performance from the Yankees.
 
@OtherGalaxy how OP is Novel Kars? I ask because a friend of mine thinks his hax could absolutely have him contend with current Goku, and even gave me a vid of two YouTubers discussing it to 'prove' it.

I haven't watched the video in question, and I'm not going to, because I get the strong feeling I'll lose whatever is left of my braincells if I do, so I'm just gonna ask you the ultimate debate question( :mjlol ):

Can he beat Goku, though?

iirc he had some kind of multiversal time manipulation/rewinding + made in heaven requiem gave him infinite speed or something but I’m going off summaries I never read the book proper. I should get around to it at some point

Early DBZA would be examples of things they did good. Lot of nonsense and just general sillyness. It isn't until the android saga that there's a clear dropoff.



There isn't a scene after the Freiza saga as funny as this


They were already overexaggerating character traits for laughs but this became all they were doing while still trying to take themselves seriously.

Yeah it was funny because it came out of left field but like almost all things they decided to base his entire personality on it and ignore how they wrote him before. Would have been better if he acted the same way but was awkward around Gohan and trying not to make him uncomfortable but end up ruining the moment unintentional every time for comedic effect.

Agree, they censor genitalia but allow that, that's fucking bullshit. We don't need to know that or see that.
