It’s literally Fiendsmith format. Trif won this years WCS with Ryzeal Fiendsmith AND the banlist didn’t touch them

Engravers practically doubled in price over night and every deck now tries to use them.

To give you an idea: me and only one other person among the Top 8 players were not using Fiendsmith in their decks. They were playing Maliss, I used pure Ryzeal

But yeah. Seeing that shit every game is annoying

It’s such a pain in the ass, I updated my side deck after this tournament to make room for one copy of D-Barrier that I use as a target for Crossout Designator as my only way to respond to it

Its honestly why im more of a fan of decks that use only main deck monsters rather than extra deck stuff since theres so much extra deck hate nowadays

And yet, Extra deck summoning is still the undisputed best way to play the game

I only like Main deck monsters strategies if their aggro enough and with an epic boss monster like Lightsworn back when dropping Judgment Dragon was absolutely terrifying

If you go with a deck based around the main deck D-Heroes, you can make a fuck off strong board that gives no fucks thanks to plasma, d-force, and dread master. shits funny as a rogue tier thing

Played a guy using that strategy at a card shop I visited miles away from where I normally go

Plasma with that continuous spells making it untargetable and destruction-proof to go with its own one-sided Skill Drain effect is brutal

and it can get even worse if they give you dark angel, then you cant even use any potential spells that can counter it

Just realized. Rituals count too. Their not from the Extra Deck and just blue cards that need a spell to summon out

Had a good time with Voiceless Voice and I’m holding on to Ryu-Ge if the future support makes them good. It’s a whole deck of beefy Level 10 Boss monsters with 3K+ attack power

Also, Vanquish Soul was a fun strategy that focused on the main deck

I messed around with Prediction Princess + Jar of Forbidden. Really wish the deck was better since it is fun.

Mieru should have joined the Lancers instead of that lame ninja dude who did jack shit
