"So long as an era calls for justice, heroes will always be there"

I'm guessing Giulia is injured and might be on her way to the main roster soon anyway? That's the only way I can figure out why she dropped the NXT title so soon.
Yep Giulia is off resting an injury, hence dropping the title to Stephanie at Roadblock.
She'll be on the main roster full time after WrestleMania so I get it. She's taking losses on the way out. Doesn't surprise me they just want to keep her in NXT before the current stories get cleared out. Then they can start fresh with her.
Yeah I get that and taking a loss to Jordynne Grace at Roadblock didn't hurt her, but Kelani hasn't exactly been portrayed that strong herself lately, taking semi-consistent Ls so I just didn't buy it. The fact it was completely clean when they're both heels atm made it even weirder

Roxanne shouldn't be putting ANYONE on NXT over whose not a main eventer (ie Jordynne, Giulia and Stephanie), especially when she's already breaking records on the main roster and she's not even officially on it yet.
Cocaine Tony really dropped the ball on Starks. I don't know how you can have a guy like that but think "no, 20 minute gymnastics matches with the Bucks are better than putting this guy on TV."
Because Ricky Starks is friends with Cody and being friends with and/or saying anything positive about Cody or Punk (or Penta now) is pretty much an instant death sentence as far as getting TV time goes.

That and being an indi/new Japan fanboy doesn't help with regards to who Khan chooses to have on TV.

Just finished my first playthrough of Stellar Blade.

This man just spent the better part of an hour or two absolutely kicking my teeth in as punishment in for picking this shitty ending. Sorry Adam mate but I wanted to get the worst and most nonsensical ending out of the way first.

The ONLY positives to the Return to the Colony Ending ARE the Elder Naytiba boss fight and his theme which is NEARLY PEAK. :maybe

Democrawler has the best boss theme in the game by far. :amazing

@Darth Nihilus I will officially eat crow on something we discussed on one of the streams.

Recently decided to replay Assassin's Creed Origins and give it another shake, since its been quite a while since I last played. And I have to say, I judged that game too harshly.

I'm still of the mind that every New AC game after it is dogshit that isn't for me, but I'll make an exception for that game, as I've genuinely been having fun with it.

Origins was the last good AC game in my book

Really loved the Egyptian setting
You have my agreement here, and it kinda makes me mad.

Ancient Greece should've also been an easy slam-dunk, but they fucked it up. And don't even get me started on Valhalla, the abysmal 'return to form' that was Mirage(aptly named, because said 'return' was the true mirage), or the worst yet, AC Shadows. Just viewing some gameplay and such from that travesty is almost enough to make me want to commit seppuku, and my mixed Irish-Nigerian ass ain't even a Nippon. :wow

Odyssey was just as good.

The only reason I didn’t buy it was that it was a literal reskin of Origins with minor improvements at best

If you like Origins and aren’t already bored by the stale Ubisoft formula, try it out

saw a quick glimpse of one of the boss fights in origins
MC is beating the absolute DOG PISS out of hermes for no reason
:heston

So I see Mashiba's career as a boxer is over.

And Sendo says he has to get in the ring ready to die.

It's funny how the whole point of this questline with Kaya and her sister was that she was in denial about how likely it was that her sister was still alive, 'cause it rubbed off on me to the point I was actively hoping I would actually find her.

My heart sank when I found that body. :sadpanda

I didn't even want to give her the memorystick (didn't help that the last person I gave similar information to ended up killing himself). I mean damn, I think I was more torn up about it than she was (or at least showed).

But one thing this game is very good at is taking a bad or sad situation and putting a hopeful spin on it. It's a large part of why, despite the state of Stellar Blade's world being objectively worse than Final Fantasy XVI's (it's post-apocalyptic for God's sake) in terms of how fucked up it is, it didn't actually feel as oppressively bleak (outside of the colony ending but it's only one of three here). There was never a moment where I almost wanted to stop playing because of it.

And yeah, Stellar Blade just like XVI is a game that benefits massively (from a story and character perspective) from playing all the side-quests. Even outside of the side-characters, just like with Clive, you see a lot more of Eve's casual personality in the side quests. Her interactions with Clyde the fisherman (who I kept accidentally calling Clive lol) in particular are quite nice. Clive's still obviously a better character but I do really like Eve and Stellar Blade has a solid cast all around.

There were just elements of the story that really needed more work put into them like Eve and Tachy's relationship and the incredibly rushed climax.

Finally some emotion in this story. Gonna suck to see Gunther lose to an entrance and a catchphrase though.

literally the only shitty part of the game is bayek's wife

that's it

Bayek is insanely based as an MC and seeing him just be a genuinely good dude trying to hold everything together was great. I had a ton of fun with the game for the 60 or so hours I poured into it

On the topic of Odyssey

Odyssey is REALLY fucking good and REALLY fucking fun, it has some of the most absurd bullshit abilities that you can get an MC and the amount of stupid shit you can do in the game with the right unlocks is insane.

Just don't treat it like an AC game and play it like Greek Demigod Open World Simulator and you're fuckin good to go

I like how every time Bayek gets one of the people on his hitlist, he personally sees them off as their sent to Anubis

And yeah, his wife sucked. Didn’t care for the brief segments of playing as her.

Yeah. But I think there's a limit to how depressing Morikawa will take the story. Sendo's grandmother is already on the verge of death right now.
