Lean scum on Retro, as I said liked a couple of their posts so they're trending upwards. Still think their opening was awkward as hell.

No read on anyone else. Agree that Melkor's entrance is pretty terrible but I want to see what he does from here first before making my mind up there. Retro's post there felt a lot like last game with what she did with Ekko - her reasoning for suspecting him isn't actually a reason to suspect him.

The rest are small leanings that I don't want to put down yet.

Can I assume the second half of this reply is directed for my benefit asking you earlier about Retro failing to emulate her normal town play?
 
Speaking of scum I sure hope Magic got a town role this time around for his sanity sake.

I felt like that was missing to be honest. If you've read the scum chat you'd see we were constantly telling her to lean into her previous games more. Here she has at the very least done a better job of replicating it, the multi paragraph psychoanalysis on whether I would fake a post restriction or not is classic Retro.

Thoughts re: the overly self conscious Retro we got early on?
 
I never actually tried reading Retro. She's always been Town or had a fake Miller claim whenever we played together. I tend to just call her Town or null and call it a day lol.

You do this thing where you work backwards from assuming that someone who is experienced at the game wouldn't make some play that you think would be at expense of their wincon for x or y reasons.

Sometimes you just town read players because you're expected to? And sometimes players can make mistakes

I don't see why you hold the expectation that Melkor in particular make some level 5 assumption of Grams play here.

Ultra, in the kindest of terms, please let Melkor answer for himself. Specifically I'd like to see how he responds to this stuff - you're giving him ammunition.

What's the point of this post?
 
Forgot to mention earlier in my response to Flower - I don't think Melkor/Gram is ever scum scum. Could see Melkor come in swinging onto a team mate like this but I don't think Gram would let a team mate look so terrible off the back of it.

Me neither, but I wanted to get Sky's thoughts on it. Looks like she doesn't think so either which looks good on her.
